Every item was addressed and repaired/fixed very quickly and efficiently. The work was completed quickly and the gentleman who came here was polite and very knowledgeable.  A wonderful company that I have already recommended to others and the only one we would call for our electrical needs.

Nick arrived on time and was very professional from the beginning.  We were very surprised however when it took him 5 hours to complete the work.  We were quoted the $65.00 per hour rate, which was fine and told generally a 2 to 3 hour job, which to us seemed very reasonable but when it actually took 5 hours, well that really seemed excessive to us.

Sent e-mail and service was completed the next day.

Mike came over to the house in early January because of mysterious flickering of lights.  The lights weren't flickering when he showed up so that was a problem.  Mike listened closely and completely believed me, I don't know if I would have believed me.  But anyways, he tightened up some nuetrals and other wires in the service box and left.  He said he would not charge me for the service call if it was still flickering which was really nice of him.  Well, the flickering was still going on, so we replaced the breaker box.  In the end he only charged me for the labor to change out the breaker box.
His crew showed up on time, worked fast in harsh conditions and were a pleasure to work with.
(** note: it was the coldest day of the year in Green Bay when they changed out this service... they had to pound copper ground rods into the frozen ground and secure my roof wire to the roof )

checked all circuts to find why there was no power,eventually found problem and corrected it.

Done in a timely manor and answered all questions.  Would not hesitate to have them back again.

Contacted Metzler via email.  Responded the next day and had people onsite later that day.  Quality work with great communication.

Very well. The electrician was timely and very professional.

The reason it was so high was that the owner sent his son (home from college for the summer, not an electrician) to assist the electrician. I was billed $52 an hour for an unskilled college student to assist the electrician. For seven hours that added $364 to the price. For a comparison I was billed  $65 an hour for the actual electrician. That would imply that this college kid has 80% of the skill of the electrician, he absolutely did not.  
I have nothing against the kid personally, but his ability is not worth near $52 an hour. When I called Metzler and complained he said that this was his son's second summer helping out, and that he has learned quite a lot. One and a half summers by my calculations is about 4.5 months of on the job training, not worth $52 an hour. I offered Metzler $20 an hour for his son's labor, but I was told no. So very well, I will pay and I will take my business elsewhere in the future. 
The only reason they get a "D" from me instead of an "F" is that Jesse (the actual electrician) did good work. If it were just him on the site he probably would have got the job done in a similar timeframe and close to the $700 I was quoted.

Got Metzler's name off Angie's List.  Called on a Friday.  Work was done the following Wednesday.  Fast, efficient service.
Jesse & Brett were professional, courteous and polite.  Cost was a little below estimate.  Would definitely recommend and call when/if we need electrical work done again.  Lights look great and provide the type of lighting we were looking to achieve.

Jesse came out and was courteous and polite. After the first electrician failed to find the problem, Jesse worked with us to trouble shoot the problem. He found it and help reassure us that it was not a major electrical problem. Really great responsive company!

Electrician was very professional and easy to work with.  Talked through all four of the jobs that I wanted to have done and worked with me to make sure that the job was done the way I wanted it.  He was a little late in the morning but not too bad, only 1/2 hour.

Mike came initially to give me an estimate, providing one on the spot with an offer to provide a paper copy if needed.  We scheduled a time for the work to be completed.  He returned with the electricians, which was much appreciated - he confirmed we were all on the same page in regards to the work to be done.  Two folks did the work instead of the one initially mentioned so the work was done faster and still within the estimated cost.  They kept the work areas very clean.  Both times they arrived on time, probably even a few minutes early.  Mike's vehicle wasn't marked as far as I could tell so don't be alarmed if you don't see a marked truck.  As mentioned he was right on time and introduced himself immediately.

We purchased a 20 year old house that was lacking cable outlets in the upstairs bedrooms.  The walk-in closet in the master bedroom had no electrical outlet & the separate water closet (toilet) in the master bath did not have an exhaust fan - which was really needed.  The guys at Metzler Electric were professional and their work was excellent.  We will definitely call on Mike & his crew for any further electrical needs!

Well, I tried to do it myself and realized I was over my head.  I looked up another electrician and he couldn't do anything for two weeks, so I went to Angie and found Metzler.  I talked with his business manager, and Mr. Metzler called back the next day.  From our call, I realized I had purchased the wrong type of dimmers for  the LED and CFL bulbs as well as been clueless on how to install them.  We decided to change the LED's to a non-dimmer, and put in an appropriate dimmer for the lower wattage of the CFL floods.  He got a dimmer for the lower wattage range of the 3-CFL's.  He came out the next business day and replaced the two switches with the agreed upon switches.  I am very pleased with timeliness and quality of the work.

The company was professional and prompt from the first phone call to the final workday. An electrician was able to come out within a day or two to look over what we were concerned about, and came up with great solutions to our problems. The electrician came back and did the work efficiently and cleanly, and we have been very happy with the results.

Arrived on time and job completion was done within the estimated time frame.

The new house didn't have a dryer outlet and it only had 100 amp service, we added a sub panel with 60 amps and they used two for the dryer outlet.  We have 4 outlets left.  When my friend wanted to put in some plugs, he called Metzler and Jerry told him exactly what he needed to put the part in the fuse box.
