The auction was held on a Tuesday, the attendance was very small. Requests to not lump items in lots was ignored. Valuable items were sold at ridiculously low prices instead of any kind of discretion being used. I got disgusted and left halfway through.
I complained about this afterwards and was told I should have gone into more detail about what I wanted. I was never given the choice or opportunity. Nobody even mentioned anything about options I had. 2 weeks after the auction I called to see where my check was, and was told "she writes the checks on Fridays, but she wasn't here last Friday, so it'll be going out this Friday"
On 10/5 I got an email saying my check would be going out this week.  I went in on 10/6 to pick up an item that hadn't sold (due to a reserve) I asked if the check had been mailed out. I was told no. I asked if I could just pick it up, and she said "If you can wait until I write it". Duh? It was supposed to have been written on 9/30 and mailed out.
Anybody that is considering using them to dissolve an estate or just to clear out unwanted "stuff" make sure you ask a ton of questions and spell out precisely what you want done and how you want things handled. I could have put most of this up on e-bay and made a lot more money, even with their commissions.
