We were very pleased with the work. Tim was very responsive, quick to schedule and coordinated the work with our painters and carpet installers. It was a good experience.

1. First job was install 2nd bath tile sink countertop. This was just a single sink, not big. It should have taken only 2 days, but ended up taking 2 weeks. I knew this was not going to go well from there.
2. There were numerous delays, didn't show up on time (sometimes not at all), and left early. Turns out the Owner scheduled too many jobs for the Installers and of course the people who called and cried the most...got their jobs done, while people like me got screwed and kept getting my job delayed.
3. The first Installer quit for another company, so another delay there. Supposedly got an "A" Installer and priority after that, but the quality was not as promised nor did I get the dedicated work either.
4. There were multiple order screw ups...wrong tile, not enough, etc.
5. There were many "attention-to-detail" items I just ended up doing/fixing after the Installer left for the day. I frequently had to fix grout, cleanup grout, actually pulled off badly set tiles and reset, etc.
6. While removed old kitchen tile backsplash, Installer damaged drywall by/behind cabinets. I had to fix that.
7. I had to fix install of new dryrock wall in kitchen.
8. Installer had to come back multiple times to fix what should have been a fairly simple backsplash install. He had a hard time with around the outlets. I had to adjust, readjust the outlets multiple times, spent a lot of time getting things back together. What a pain.
9. I had to hover over the work being done quite a bit to make sure I got what was expected. i had to look at all of the tiles before they were installed because some unaccetable pieces were getting put down.
10. There were some situations I think that should not have been as difficult as they ended up being, took 2 and 3 times to get right. Nothing was unusual, everything was actually quite normal. But it just seemed like there was too much figuring out on the fly for me.
11. The Owner was alright, but had too many excuses for delays. The Tile part of the project was responsible for at least 1 full month of delays.
12. I am a Project Manager by profession and I cannot imagine any other people doing all of the scheduling, ordering, checking and verifying, hands on work, planning, etc. that I did. I had to take over responsibility of quite a bit of work as the others were not doing it shortly after the work started.

We selected the tiles at the store which is conveniently located. They gave advice when asked about size of tile and whether we wanted to vary the tiles.
