Porch immediately began to discolor.  Called contractor and told him.  He said it was too late in year to do anything.  That they would come back in spring and fix it.  After a few phone calls they finally came back at end of June and said that they could not get the dirt off without sanding the whole area.  They put coat of sealer over dirt.  Very unprofessionally.  I called to complain and was told by owner that they no longer even did wood porches or decks and that we should have had a composite deck done and we wouldn't have that problem  Needless to say, we would not deal with this contractor again and believe he should have done whatever it took to fix the problem.  But, the sell was much more professional than the outcome.
