The clocks were taken in for repair on Feb. 8th 2013. Don, from the Clock Place did call with in a week with estamite of cost and asked if they should go ahead with repair. When I agreed Don said they would call when they were ready. When I didn't hear anything from them by end of March I contacted them and was rudly told that it takes time and that they are very busy. Also that they keep them for 2-3 weeks after the repair to ensure that they were keeping correct time etc. Don again said that they would call when ready. When I heard nothing in 3 months I called again to be told that he did not know but would check and call me back. I never received a call back. In Aug. I contacted them again to be told that they would call me when ready. Finally in Sept., almost 8 moths after taking them in, they called and left a message that both clocks were ready for pick up. We drove the 40+ miles to Green BAy to pick them up to be told they could not find them! While I was there another customer came in to pick up her clock it had been there a month and they had not looked at it yet. An hour later we did leave the shop with the Coo Coo Clock. The second clock was found and we recovered it the next week. With in a month only 1 of the 3 chimes on the wall clock is working. Since my experience two friends shared theirs. One had taken in 2 watches to be repaired and was very pleased with price and service. The other also waited months for her clock and then they gave her the wrong one. As it was packed in a box she did not notice this and did not unpack it till several weeks later when her husband came home from working on the road. They took it back hoping they had not giver her clock to someone else. Eventually they did get their clock back. Then a year later the Clock Place called to say that her clock was ready for pick up!
Description of Work: Repaired two clocks, one was a Coo Coo Clock we bought in Germany and the other was a large wall clock with chimes.
