Amazingly well. My then 11 week old was just seperated from his brother and was dealing with learning his own role on his own and having awful seperation anxiety, especially away from us, or at night. The great staff at Canterbury helped us throughout the whole process by giving us a tour of the whole facility, and explaining great ideas to help him over his anxiety issues. They give great advice, and truly care about my little guy- also making sure that if I have anxiety- that I can always call to check up on him. Knowing that he has structured play in small groups of dogs that are perfect for him at this stage has really helped his confidence and decreased his anxiety. He is no longer unbearable at night- with the great advice I was given with and quot;crate trainingand quot;, and if there is ever an issue- they have a great procedure of taking any injured pup our vet, so he can be immediately seen.
Having everything in step for me, along with buying a package deal- to make each day be like $10.00 a day for daycare, has helped our budget- along with helping our puppy grow into a confident and non-destructive little guy. The staff has been so compassionate and helpful, that I wouldn't trust my puppy anywhere else.

The care is excellent and the owners divide the dogs according to temperament. Play time is rotated so the dogs get rest between play sessions. If there is an injury or illness, our dog is taken to our vet, often at their own expense. Our dog is treated like a member of their family. We have been to other kennels and this one is the best. The other kennel in the area lets all the dogs run wild all day with no thought to the temperament or energy level of the animals.
