Sanded and refinished our maple hardwood floors in the upstairs hallway.

Contractor performed work in a professional manner, explained as they went, and stayed within the estimate. Very satisfied.

Everything went Great. He was busy, so it took a little linger than I wanted but that was really out of his control.

Best price by far, generally pleased with work although communication and responsiveness could be better.

Overall, he gets an "A". The only negative was the scheduling time for the job. He just showed up and asked for the first portion of payment. We were able to pay this, but was not prepared for this. It would have been better if he had called a day or so ahead of time to let us know when he will start.

He they did a good job, but they always wanted more money for issues that would come up. They did fine work.

TK was working on our neighbors chimney. I spoke with the owner, he provided an estimate and his team repaired our chimney the next day. TK is insured (provided proof from his insurance carrier. His team used scaffolding to complete the job. They provided services as quoted. They cleaned up the roof and yard of all debris before leaving.

Tom has been helping me for years. He explains what needs to be done and where. His prices have always been fair. He cares about the work he does, enjoys it and has a great deal of experience in a number of areas.

Tom is amazing. He can do anything that uses mortar and THEN SOME! He is friendly, a hard-worker, and honest. His crew was great too! The first job he did completely by himself. He cleaned up after himself and worked weekends to try to meet our deadline (we had had problems with a previous contractor so we were behind on our timeline). The faux stone looked beautiful and he was so creative with the laying of if. I didn't buy corner pieces as I didn't realize they were needed. He worked around this and saved us money. He created a look that was more realistic. We have had so many compliments about the stone. The second job, words can not describe the change in the appearance of the home. The corners of the house looked like a blotch of cement when he started. He literally removed hundreds of bricks from the corners to get this material off and close off any gaps on the corners of the house. Now there is absolutely no areas on the house covered by this cement type material. He and his crew took pains to get all of this cement off the bricks. The cream city brick looked like new after the chemical cleaning. There was an area where the cream city brick meets the red adobe brick. The cream city was obviously an addition at some point. There was layers of mortar and cement over this area which was so unsightly. Again, Tom and his crew painstakingly removed all this material and sealed it. Tom added insulation whenever he saw an area which needed it when he was removing brick or around windows and doors. The skimcoating around the perimeter of the house is - wonderful. It is uniform, clean, tidy and looks like a whole different house. When he was close to completing the job, he and his crew totally cleaned up the exterior of the yard around the house and removed all the rubble and debris. It was great! The first time we had not done work with Tom before but obviously when he and the crew tuckpointed we had worked with him previously. The job took longer due to the weather - it was not cooperating! As for the estimate, it was slightly higher because we wanted to go with the chemical clean. This was in addition to the tuckpointing so the final cost was more but we had more done than the original estimate. All the work initially estimated was right on. He is extremely reasonably. There is so much he did and so much he and his crew did so well, I'm sure I am forgetting some of it!!!

THE FINISHED WORK LOOKED GREAT AT FIRST AND THE AREA WAS LEFT CLEAN. FEB/MARCH 2005 I CALLED and SPOKE TO LISA. LESS THAN 1 YR. AFTER THE WORK, 1 BRICK WAS DETERIORATING and CEMENT BETWEEN A STEP SURFACE and FRONT OF THE NEXT STEP HAD FALLEN THROUGH LEAVING A GAP. LISA SAID THAT TOM WOULD STOP BY AND LOOK AT IT and AGREED THAT THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING. SINCE THIS CALL, THEY HAVE NOT CONTACTED ME AND I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO CONTACT THEM. BOTH NUMBERS GIVEN ON ANGIE'S LIST HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED.

THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT. THEY COMPLETED THE WORK IN A TIMELY MANNER. THEY DID NOT DESTROY MY GARDENS SURROUNDING HOUSE.

THEY CAME ON A SATURDAY MORNING AND CAME BACK ON SUNDAY AND DID THE WORK. THE TIMING WAS UNBELIEVABLE. THEY DID GREAT WORK AND LEFT NO MESS TO SPEAK OF, CONSIDERING THE TYPE OF WORK. THEY REMOVED ALL DEBRIS. I ASKED THEM TO QUOTE ON A FUTURE PROJECT OF REROOFING A SECOND FLOOR PORCH. THEY ARE VERY PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL AND COMPETITIVE.

KOBY'S WORK WAS EXCELLENT BUT TO GET THEM HERE TO DO IT WAS A TRYING EXPERIENCE. LIKE OTHER CONTRACTORS, THEY SQUEEZED ME IN BETWEEN BIGGER JOBS. THE RESULT WAS THAT THE WORK TOOK PLACE OVER A LONG PERIOD, APRIL TO NOVEMBER, 2003. WITH JUST 1-2% OF THE JOB LEFT, I PAID THEM WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT I WOULD BE FIRST ON THEIR LIST IN APRIL 2004. THEY NEVER CAME. AFTER DOZENS OF CALLS, THEY STILL DID NOT COME DESPITE PROMISING TO DO SO ON AT LEAST THREE OR FOUR OCCASIONS. THEY EVEN TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD COME MY WAY WHEN THERE WAS WORK IN THE AREA FOR THEM. BY NOVEMBER 2004, I STILL HAD NOT HEARD FROM KOBY AND I ENDED UP HIRING SOMEONE TO DO PART OF WHAT THEY HAD LEFT. A SHAMEFUL PERFORMANCE.

CONFIDENT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE TEAM WORK BY THE WHOLE KOBY OUTFIT FROM THE PROJECT ESTIMATE TO THE COMPLETED CHIMNEY. PERCEPTIVE, RESPONSIVE AND FAST. I COULD HAVE GOTTEN SEVERAL OTHER ESTIMATES, BUT THE PROMISE THAT THE WORK COULD BE COMPLETED IN MY TIME FRAME PRECLUDED THE OPTION. I AM HOPING THE PERENNIAL GARDEN ISSUE WILL BE FINISHED SOON.

THEY WERE GREAT. THEY RETURNED MY CALLS PROMPTLY, BUT TOM WAS SUPPOSED TO COME ONE DAY AND DIDN'T MAKE IT (I CAN'T REMEMBER WHY). WHEN HE DID THOUGH, THE WORK WAS GREAT. IT BLENDS IN WITH THE REST OF THE EXTERIOR VERY NICELY AND A JOB THAT I THOUGHT WOULD COST ME THOUSANDS, WAS DONE IN ONE DAY FOR ONLY A FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS. VERY STRAIGHT FORWARD AND EASY TO TALK TO.

I GRADED RESPONSIVENESS AS GOOD, COMPARED TO OTHER MASONRY COMPANIES. I'VE CONTACTED ABOUT 8 OR SO MASONRY COMPANIES FOR OTHER WORK AND THEY ALL ARE NOT VERY GOOD ON RESPONSIVENESS.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. FIT ME IN EARLIER THAN SCHEDULED BECAUSE I WAS A SMALLER JOB AND THEY WERE ABLE TO DO IT ON A FRIDAY IN BETWEEN LARGER JOBS. THEY EVENT TOOK SOME MONEY OFF THE FINAL PRICE BECAUSE THEY SAID IT WAS NOT AS LARGE A JOB AS ORIGINALLY THOUGHT.

WHAT IMPRESSED ME MOST WAS THE FACT THEY AFTER THEY STARTED THE JOB, THEY STAYED WITH IT UNTIL IT WAS DONE.

HE CAME ON A FRIDAY, HE WAS THERE WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD BE. WE ARE HAVING THEM COME BACK TO ESTIMATE SOME TUCKPOINTING.

WERE OUT OF THERE SERVICE AREA, BUT BENT OVER BACKWARDS FOR US. THEY WERE FAST AND CLEAN THEY MATCHED GROUT WORK TO MATCH THE HOUSE. I CANT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THEM

THE JOB WAS QUOTED AT $1500, HE HONORED MY COUPON OF 10% OVER $500, SO I SAVED $150!! HE WAS PROFESSIONAL, HONEST AND THE QUALITY OF HIS WORK SAYS IT ALL. HE ALSO SUGGESTED THAT BECAUSE OF OUR FLUES COLLAPSING, WE WOULD NEED A LINER INSTALLED OF WHICH HE RECOMMENDED A HEATING and COOLING EXPERT, WHICH I WOULD ALSO GIVE AN A+ TO THE RECOMMENDATION HE REFERRED TO US.

DID A GREAT JOB. WAS VERY RESPONSIVE.

THEY CONTINUE TO COMMUNICATED WITH ME LONG DISTANCE AND THEIR PRICES WHERE HALF OF OTHER COMPANY, THEY ALLOWED ME TO DO THE REPAIRS AT REASONABLE RATE TO GET THE JOB DONE.
