POSTNET POSTAL & BUSINESS SVC

I mailed two International packages via Postnet.  I was told that mailing jewelry internationally is extremely expensive, and that it also needed to be mailed via Express International Mail, which was also very expensive.  When I received photos, three weeks later, of the packages from the receiver once the packages were received, I saw that the packages were mailed for $28.88, via Priority Mail.  I realized that I had been grossly overcharged by Postnet, and requested a refund of $100.  Postnet originally gave me a partial refund of $35.  I did ask for Angie's List assistance, and because of that, Postnet reviewed what had occurred, and offered another refund to me, of $51, which I accepted.  Thanks to Angie's List, I did receive all but $14 of what I had originally paid for the packages to be mailed, giving Postnet a profit of $14 for mailing the packages for me at the Post Office.  Postnet is always clean, and the staff are always helpful and courteous.  I believe that what happened to me was simply an error made by a new employee, so I rate them overall, A- B.  Thank you, Angie's List!
