On referral, invited to quote on improving foundation landscaping and trees. First visit Mid-Feb 2011. Many suggestions. She said she would make printed simulation and quote. A reminder a month later and another promise to followup. Another month later, In mid April we got a verbal quote of hourly rate, no simulation or drawing. She promised to send a tree-trimmer and said she would be present to instruct him what to do. Trimmer finally came early June. Kathy was a no-show, no notice, to the trimmer's dismay. He did the best job he could based on a verbal "instruction" from Kathy about a month prior. "Best" unfortunately resulted in taking out two limbs shading the patio. Then with regular reminders, Kathy did bits and pieces of the job until mid July when we switched to another landscaper. What she did in landscaping was done well, at a fair hourly rate, but the constant uncertainty and delay was annoying.

Entire job finished between Friday afternoon and Sunday at 2 pm. Covered all track marks in the lawn (from pulling shrubs with vehicle) with top soil to re-level the lawn. Replaced brick trim around former shrubs beds and filled with mulch everything is ready for spring planting. Once she was there working, she was flexible with adding minor steps to the project. The estimate didn't originally cover the removal of the two small tree stumps or the front bushes but she added that in as we went.

Kathy and her workers were very hard working, aimed to please, very polite, worked through some tough problems with the supplier of the block, saw the project through to the very end, called back within 24 hours each time we called them (even from the first call), cleaned up after each day's work, took great pride in their work, and were all around nice people to work with.
