Horrible experience with carpet install. Carpet was installed with over 4 inch skew. Immediately called after install. Original installer cut pattern from prior carpet instead of measuring for accurate install. They sent over another crew after continuous calls since we have not heard back. Second crew was measuring with tape measure slanted and seemed just as incompetent as initial installer. Very unprofessional and incompetent installer and no help from the carpet sales/ manager at Home Depot. My wife contacted the store and basically told there is nothing they can do and was quite rude. I would highly recommend staying away from having Home Depot install your carpet with any kind of pattern. I personally could have done a better install then the people they use to install. From this experience and how it is being handled I will never use or recommend Home Depot for any service or products.

They sent out a team to measure and then another team to install the floor. It all went very smoothly, I believe the installer was a independent contractor. Everything went fine and quickly.

I am not thrilled with it,  probably mediocre at best. The only reason I go there is because it is convenient.

They are convenient and the people are fine. The person we ordered the cabinets from was very helpful and did a great job. We got very good customer service and we ordered our appliances from them when we remodeled our kitchen.

They were very careful, beautiful work! very meticulous in their work.

It went extremely well, we're very pleased with the installation and quality of the carpet.

They let me know ahead of time what they were going to do. For the most part they were on time since I was out of town and he had somebody kind of be the go-between here in Wisconsin. I got what I ordered.

 We went some where else . got the carpet and had it installed . It cost us $100.00 more then Home Depot . And the work was done
 
Do not go to Home Depot in West Bend , WI .  If you put it in or have some one else to it  . It would be fine . DO NOT LET THEM INSTALL ANY THING .

They have equipment rentals plus I can buy pretty much anything there which is what I like about them.  They were however a little pricey for the four hours I rented the power washer.  They have helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly people at the checkout.

The job went well.  Home Depot did what they said they were going to do and we are happy with the outcome.

The hot water heater they installed is GE 40 gallon gas.Cost about 350.00, The plumber who installed it said are plumbing for hot water heater needed to be updated. By the time he was done he ended on charging us for hot water heater and installing it was $950.00.Give me a break we got ripped off. A friend of mine just a week ago had a GE 40 gallon Gas heater installed and needed updating for her plumbing it was only 700.00, so now tell me is there something wrong with this picture. She also had it installed by Home Depot.  I also need another hot water heater for my rental unit, it sure wont be Home Depot.

Will never shop this store again.  I found the exact carpeting I was looking for there in February 2011.  However, it was an "in stock' clearance carpet and we understood that it might not be available when we returned.  On, 3/13/11, we returned to the store and the carpeting was still available.  As it was exactly what we wanted, we decided to proceed with the purchase, even though we were not ready for the installation, and were prepared to pay the entire amount based upon the salesperson's estimate.  We were told that this would not be necessary- as long as we paid the measurement fee, the carpeting would be held for us until we accepted or refused the formal quote.  The measurement appointment was scheduled for 6 days later and we were called with the quote 3 days later.  However, we were also told that the carpeting we had selected was NO LONGER AVAILABLE.  I immediately called the store and was told that this was correct but that they would try to get it from another store and would call back the next day.  At 8:30pm the next day, I again called the store as I had not received the promised call back.  The person I had originally spoken with was not there and there was no record of any other stores being contacted.  Again, I was told that the other stores would be called and we would receive a call back the next day.  But, once again, no call back was received so I called the store at 8pm.  This time I was told that they had been unable to find the selected carpeting but that they had another very close choice and would offer me the same price for this 2nd choice or any other "in stock" carpeting.  We went back to the store the next day but no salesperson knew anything about this "very close" choice and there was no other "in stock" carpeting which would match the colors (paint, etc.)  that had already been matched to the first choice.  We did select 2 carpets that possibly would work and requested a discount on pricing because of what had happened.  We were told that this would require a manager's approval and - guess what- we would receive a call back the next day.  At 3pm the next day - after AGAIN no call back was received, I called the store.  I spoke with the salesperson from the previous evening and he was surprised that we had not been called back, said he would take care of this right away and call us back within a few minutes.  AND, AGAIN, NO CALL BACK.   

Home Depot in Grafton had many ranges to choose from including the one we were seeking. Salesman was extremely helpful. Delivery was timely and delivery persons were very professional. We are very satisfied with our range and would definitely shop for appliances again at this particular Home Depot.

Picked out cheap carpet in store and arranged for measure. They did not quote areas separately like I asked until I explained what I wanted several times and waited on the phone while they recalculated. I did like that they sent me the quotes by email. We did not do the work because we decided to focus our budget on wood floors for our kitchen.

The scheduling was done very effectively and efficiently. The installers arrived on time. The installers were not up to what would be local professional standards. Some did not speak English and damaged a wall during installation. They had to be called back to repair a section of carpet that was not installed correctly. However, The repair was done correctly and the final job was acceptable.

They used their sub contractors to install the door. I believe the installation was free. I was very happy with the end result, but there was some damage to the door. I ended up getting the door for less than half of what it actually cost. They did offer to order another one but we opted for the discount. The cost was the price before the discount.

I went to this store because the had a good sale. They subcontract the deliveries. I paid for two delivery men. One showed up. He struggled. He took off both the front door and screen door. He would not put them back on. After he got the old unit outside, he dropped it. He did not level the refrigerator. I don't know why a big name store use poor quality delivery companies. I just might hire my own people next time.

Measuring appointment (subcontractor McDermott Top Shop) was completed at scheduled time and efficiently- with recommendations for utility edges to cut cost along the refrigerator and a last minute addition sink hole cut requested by me. Installers arrived as scheduled, removed the existing laminate countertop and replaced with corian- perfect fit. They completed the detail work- routed the edges (left hardly any mess- amazing) and inserted the new cooktop making sure the cutout fit. They were professional and courteous and gave me a briefing of how to care for my new countertop, an extra piece in case they ever have to come back to repair damage, and a piece to place beside the stove with a hot pad to help prevent the most common cause of damage. No remarkable damage to the existing cabinets or walls.

I purchased a new LG front load washer from another company and then noticed on-line that Home Depot had it for $150 less. Unfortunately, I had already purchased the item from the other company, although next time I will consider Home Depot before I buy.

Experience went well. They sent a good team of installers. Carpet went in without damage to our home. The even pointed out a flaw in the carpet and suggested names to call to make Home Depot aware of the issue. I graded them a "B" on price, because although the carpet was competitively priced, it contained a flaw.

Overall it went well. We had a minor issue that we were able to resolve over the phone. After purchasing a refrigerator, we re-measured the space at home and decided we bought the wrong model. We called and the department manager was able to swith our purchase with one on display. I think the price was fair, the delivery was as promised. My only issue as noted in the "B" punctuality score was we had a hard time getting someone in the department on the phone to agree to switch our purchased refrigerator with one that would fit in our kitchen.
