Even though the washer was toast he did provide a great service.  Seems like any price estimate to fix a washer is above the cost of a new one now a days.  He explained the basket was out of true and showed us on the machine.  He answered all our questions and then provide a voucher should we want to purchase a new one from Best Buy.  He said he could fix it but when he quoted the price it was about the same as a new machine.  A new machine with an extended warranty.  In the future though I've learned it's not worth the service call because the cost of fixing a machine is too much now.

They didn't charge us anything. They were originally scheduled to come out on Friday and we told them we couldn't do it on Friday so they came out on a Sunday. The fellow spent about two hours hooking everything up and also hooked up a couple of other TVs. He showed us how to use everything and programmed all the remotes. He did just a super job on everything.
