Had a large (20 yards x 5 yards) old flower bed removed, and leveled to grade. Other companies quoted work to be almost double what Wedlands quoted. It was done in the spring, and since the flower bed was in the backyard, they needed to wait for things to dry out, so it took a little longer than I was hoping, but you can't control the weather. They called the week prior to let me know I was on the worklist for the following week (weather permitting). They then called the day before (Thursday) to let me know when they would be out the next day. It got to be later in the day (on a Friday) so I wasn't sure if they would be out or not. They called around 3pm and assured me they would be get it done that day. They arrived around 4, and worked quick and efficiently and were done by 5:30. They put down mats and plywood to save my front lawn. Once they left you didn't even know they were there. Very impressed with their work.

The removal of the small trees, bushes, and plants went pretty well. So did adding the new topsoil. What didn't go so well was the removal of existing roots from some of the trees and bigger plants. What went even worse was the old red landscaping stones we had in that bed. Upon closer inspection after they were done, my husband and I found tons of the old rocks all over our backyard. I called Wendland and one worker came back to remove what was left behind. Yeah, still not so good! We ended up picking up and are still picking up MANY of those small stones! Granted, the area they had to work with was very large and I could see if they may have missed some of the rocks, but they also had at least 6 workers there that day, plus the extra one that came back out to collect more rocks, so honestly, that backyard should have been picture perfect when all was said and done. Unfortunately, that is not the case! After we paid our bill in it's entirety, I added a comment on their invoice letting Wendland know that we still aren't happy with the end result, but have not heard back from them. My husband and I had 3 other quotes from other landscaping companies, but because the others were more expensive, and the review I read on Angie's List was very favorable for Wendland, we decided to go with them. Now I can see, that you indeed, get what you pay for!

Wendland has done our landscaping for many years starting in Germantown, WI; then Menomonee Falls, WI and now in West Bend, WI. They always arrive on time and proceed with their work in a very workmanship like manner and take care and pay attention to detail when shaping trees and shrubs. They do ask questions to be sure that what they are doing we are satisfied with and will accommodate any last minute changes we might have. We have worked with them for over 20 years and would not ever consider going to anyone else. They have a complete landscape design service which we have utilized in all locations and we continue to have them do additional design and work for us.
They arrived in early morning and worked all day until after 5:00 p.m. to complete the work. Anyone wishing to do a and quot;drive-byand quot; to see the beautiful landscaping that they have done will be impressed. We are the only home in this area to have such a beautiful yard which was created by Wendland Nursery.

All activities went well. Workers were very helpful in explaining care, maintenance etc. Were not great at clean-up but it was not a big issue.

Everything has went great. They were very couretous and efficient. They were also very professional and I would certainly use them again. I would recommend this company. They were always responsive to our needs.

When I was looking for mulch to be delivered most companies had a minimum order that was well over the amount I needed, but Wendlands delivered the number of yards I needed without any problem.

WENDLAND NURSERIES CAME TO OUR HOUSE TO FIX OUR LANDSCAPING PROBLEM. THEY DID A VERY NICE JOB IN A TIMELY MANNER. THE PEOPLE WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND SYMPATHETIC TO THE PROBLEM WE WERE FACING. WE WOULD DEFINITELY USE WENDLAND NURSERIES AGAIN FOR ANY LANDSCAPING NEEDS.

THEY ALWAYS DELIVER WHEN YOU EXPECT RAIN OR SHINE. THEY ACCEPT CHECKS UPON DELIVERY. THE MULCH IS FRESH AND THEY WILL COME AND DELIVER ON SHORT NOTICE. WE HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH THE QUALITY.
