+ 0 moreI would recommend them to absolutely everyone. The only drawback is that the man is so busy, he can't always get to you in a timely fashion. He and his wife have a practical down home friendliness that you would not hesitate to have in your home at any time.
Description of Work: They did a kitchen and a bathroom for me.

+ -1 moreJim and Leslie were a pleasure to work with. They kept us informed as to their schedule, completed the work in a timely manner, and we have been very pleased with the quality of their work. They adhered to the original quote, but also made sure to adjust the price when design changes reduced the cost. I would be happy to work with them again in the future.
Description of Work: The Poertners remodeled a section of our basement where we had unfinished space converted into a home office. They helped us develop our vision of the room and made suggestions with respect to heating, lighting, etc. The work involved tearing down an interior wall, replacing an old basement window with glass block, and framing out and drywalling a room in our basement. They were also responsible for electrical and connecting a duct to our furnace.

Description of Work: PROVIDED DESIGN AND LABOR FOR NEW COUNTERTOPS AND FAUCET IN KITCHEN. JOB WAS DONE IN ONE DAY. THERE WERE NO HIDDEN CHARGES. AND OUR KITCHEN WAS CLEANED UP AND READY TO USE WHEN THEY LEFT.
