Dave and his team are courteous, respectful of property, friendly, a pleasure to work with. They did an outstanding job on both of our chimney's. If we could give 6 stars we would. We highly recommend Mr. Chimney.

Service man was honest and advised that my chimney did not need to be cleaned. He checked the chimney on the inside and outside for damage and found no problems.

d I feel the worker should have showed me the video that he took, I really dont even know if he did it or not. and the whole job took less than 40 minutes which is hard for me to believe that a chimney my size could be cleaned in that time. My chimney had never been cleaned in 47 years!

Owner inspected chimney flap for air/water leaks. Advised me to keep chimney damper in place along with chimney flap.  No work needed to be done.

I asked them to do a routine chimney cleaning. Even though it was during their busy season, making an appointment was quick and easy with the friendly phone staff.The technicians were right on time, had good communication skills, and conducted themselves professionally. They did a complimentary safety check and found that my chimney crown was cracked and leaking. I appreciated this very much as addressing this problem now will save me greater expense and repairs in the long run. I only have 2 minor complaints. One was that the newly trained technician saw what he thought might have been a installation mistake and spoke to me about his concern before he checked with his boss - it was not a problem, but I had already become a quite concerned about it. Also I had to do some clean up on the hearth exterior - they left soot on it. But, overall I was very pleased with them!

My call to the office was answered by a very helpful and friendly person and the appointment was scheduled easily and quickly. Service technician was on time, was courteous, and finished in a timely mannner. He found some problems and I was impressed by his communication skills while explaining them to me. He filled me in on what exactly the problem was, why it was important to address, how it could be fixed, and how the problem could affect the future integrity of the chimney. I appreciate being able to now make an informed decision about the repairs. My only complaint is that they left soot on the hearth that we had to clean up after. Otherwise, very happy with this company overall.

He erected scaffolding around chimney, custom built a new stainless steel cap, and sealed what needed to be done.  Also had to tear down old cap and seal.  We have a 10 year guarantee.

Their job has been satisfactory so far.  My experience with the worker what came out to do the work was fine.  They only came once.  We were having a funny smell in the fireplace and he said it could be the water was getting in so he caulked around it.  We haven’t noticed it since so I'm assuming it took care of it.

Done on time and when scheduled

They came right out and fixed it right away.  They were very personable, friendly, and didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need.  They inspected the whole chimney and did good work.  I was well-pleased and I would highly recommend them.

They found out that it didn't need cleaning so they charged me just a trip charge of $99. It was okay. It was good that they didn't charge me more than they needed to. We had discussed about the chimney itself and some other aspects of my fireplace so they seemed like a good resource thing, they answered questions honestly.

I use this company every year.  I used a couple companies before, but I felt they were trying to sell me extra parts and they threw cigarettes in my yard.  I'm very happy with Dave from Mr. Chimney. He's very professional and friendly.. He's never suggested extra work, but I will be having him come and look at my chimney cap this summer, because I don't feel the one I have is correct.
I feel that I have a permanent chimney cleaner that I'm comfortable with and trust.

Overall it went very well. Only time will tell if everything is working okay.

At first Dave thought we only needed a partial rebuild of the chiminey adn quoted us that.  The other quotes we had just proposed a complete rebuild from teh beginning. 
When Dave started, he found the job greater than anticipated and let us know right away.  Still came in loer than the other quotes.

They were fine.  They put tarps down in the house and cleaned up.  There were no smudges left over.

The stainless steal liners are guaranteed for a lifetime. After the repairs have been completed I believe the chimney is now in better condition than when it was originally constructed.  The workmen were very friendly and considerate.  The entire job lasted for approximately 3 work weeks but because of the intense heat in July it was completed over for a four week period.
The job required the removal of the chimney caps, concrete slab at the top of the chimney as well as the stone exterior at the top of the chimney.  At the end of the project the exterior stones were re-mortered into place. A concrete cover was poured at the top of the chimney and then copper caps were attached at the top of each flue.  So both concrete work and masonry were required.
I am extremely pleased with the quality of the craftsmanship put in on the project.

He was great. He did a very nice job. I didn't feel as though he was coming up with the most expensive fix. I did not feel like he was trying to take me for more money.

We were satisfied.  In fact I will be giving him a call very shortly to sweep my chimney again.

They work was fine. The workmanship was beautiful.  It was reasonably priced and neatly done.
