very well - except for itching/chewing of feet - it must be standard practice for vets to start with allergies (after checking paws) & food - but I am now pretty sure it may be a grass allergy after watching for years

I've found them to be very caring overall. Honestly there are one or two techs that I don't really care for, but I'm happy with the vets. The location is great for me. They usually are able to get us an apt when we need one. And their prices are good. They are very low tech, no computerized billing and a handwritten appointment book? But I don't feel like they are charging exorbitant prices for basic stuff.

We are proceeding with recommended surgery after Dr. Mitchell earned our trust over the last 8 years in treating our dogs.
Dr. Mitchell has been taking care of our two beagles and now (after adopting the little guy from my ailing father) our English Springer. The staff is very kind, and Dr. Mitchell is a very experienced, senior vet with surgical experience.
We are thankful that he is available to do surgery on our springer tomorrow, and his modest rates made it much easier to seek a rather risky surgery for a middle aged dog. Larger animal hospitals suffer higher overhead, which is necessary when covering all types of advanced treatment.
Still, you will be surprised at what Dr. Mitchell can do in a comparatively modest setup. The scale of his operation makes it easier to provide quality care and surgeries with reasonable fees.
These people love their line of work, and their office will continue to be our first stop when it comes to our pets' health. This is a first class business with caring professionals operating in a home-like setting. I found the people here to be the best in the area.

The staff were very friendly. The facility was very clean for a vet clinic. I have severe cat allergies and I usually start sneezing when I walk into a vet office but I didn't have any problems here! Dr. Lewis was quiet at first but was more talkative toward the end of the exam.

It went well. They were able to diagnose hookworm as the issue.
They do not take credit cards and all records are hand written, they do not have a computerized record system. The office visit charge of $45 is very reasonable. Staff is very friendly. The amenities

There are only 2 veterinarians and they are excellent. My cat was infected so she had to be hydrated and medication. They were reasonable for the services I had. One of my cats had to be put down sometime back and they did an individual cremation for about $140. They were very sympathetic and sent me a sympathy card also. I will continue to use them in the future.

WE HAVE TAKEN OUR DOGS TO THE GERMANTOWN ANIMAL HOSPITAL FOR YEARS. THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY NICE TO OUR DOGS. WHEN OUR DOG HAD A STROKE AND WE HAD TO PUT HIM DOWN, THEY WERE EXTREMELY SYMPATHETIC. WE RECEIVED A SYMPATHY CARD A FEW DAYS LATER. WE WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE OUR NEW DOG THERE.

STAFF IS HELPFUL, FRIENDLY AND HAS DONE F/U CALLS TO CHECK ON MY DOG AFTER SURGERY AND A FOOT INJURY. BOTH VETS ARE HELPFUL AND CARING WITH ANIMALS. THEY HAVE ALWAYS ASKED ME IF I HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.

THE STAFF WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND LOVING TOWARD MY SOMETIMES UNFRIENDLY CAT! THEY MADE SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR ME SO I WAS ABLE THE GET MY PET IN THEIR CLINIC BEFORE I HAD TO BE TO WORK. THE CAT IS DOING AWESOME! HE HARDLY MISSED A BEAT WHEN RETURNING HOME, SO I KNOW THEY TOOK GOOD CARE OF HIM. THEY EVEN MADE A FOLLOW UP CALL SEVERAL DAYS LATER TO SEE HOW HE WAS DOING. I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE AS WELL. I DEFINITELY WILL TAKE MY PETS TO THIS FACILITY IN THE FUTURE.

WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH DR. MITCHELL AND HIS STAFF. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL WHILE ALWAYS BEING SO GENTLE AND FRIENDLY WITH THE ANIMALS. WE HAVE BEEN PLEASED WITH DR. MITCHELL'S OVERALL HEALTH CARE OF OUR PETS.
