Diagnosed the problems:  Mouse-chewed low voltage wire between heater/fan unit and compressor (which was outside), and loose wire on second unit. 

Fixed both problems, gave me information about how to fix again myself if the issue reoccurred.

I was delighted by the work Victor did - he showed me every step of the way, was not the least bit disturbed by me looking over his shoulder. 

I've used him twice before, once on a home warranty and once to look at an ancient garage heater.  Victor did not charge me in either case, didn't recommend things I didn't want.  After this last issue, I trust his work - and work ethic.

Our furnace was cycling on and off frequently and was not maintaining a consistent temperature. We called our home warranty company, and they assigned Comfort Zone Heating and A/C. Victor cleaned the flame sensor, and the problem was gone immediately. If that were all there were to say, that would be good enough, and we would be satisfied. However, Victor’s great service and helpfulness went way beyond that, and we are very happy we found him.

He was quite responsive in his communications and very flexible in scheduling. Victor called promptly to make an appointment and was more than flexible in working around our schedule. When he arrived, he greeted us warmly and took off his shoes to avoid bringing snow into the house. He immediately identified the problem and not only fixed it, but also showed me how I can do it myself in the future to save money and time. He made sure I understood the diagnostic lights on our furnace, showed me the best way to remove the flame sensor so I wouldn’t let parts drop into the furnace, and demonstrated how to clean the flame sensor. He clearly put our needs and interests ahead of his opportunity to sell more services. We are grateful for him and glad we found him!

Excellent! Comfort Zone was assigned to us by our warranty company. Victor visited a couple times, conventiently on Saturdays, His communication was great. After he determined that the air condition could not be repaired, he worked with the warranty company and worked very hard to get us a new unit -- which we truly needed. Professional, punctional, terrific, and a pleasure to do business with. He was awesome!
