We used them about a month and a half ago.  They were very clean. The guys were very courteous.  They cleaned up after themselves.  They were very polite.

Shortly after that visit, we kept getting calls that the battery was going dead. One night it was beeping all night until we called and figured out how to stop that. It took two calls to get the service person back to install a new battery. We were charged $31.60 on 7/27/10 for the battery. Then I got another bill for $209.95. I called and spoke with Kim 1-800-831-8629 ext 224 and asked her why we are billed when we just paid $199.97 on 6/17. She said the $199.97 was "take over of the system" which was $79 for the service call and $55 for each key fob. The $209.95 is for the annual monitoring. I told her about all our troubles with the system, especially the battery and she said to diagnosis it and repair the main unit would be at OUR EXPENSE! I said why would we pay $520.51 in 2 months of owning the place when it isn't even functioning right??? Update: The past few weeks the system seemed normal without replacing the battery and now today, 8/16/10 we received another call that the security system is showing low battery. So it didn't even last a month. I'm afraid this is a money pit. We can't get our money back however we can (and I suggest we do this) not get the ACEC system. It's a money pit. Maybe we could find something at radio shack that would call our # or alert us if the temp goes down in the place. Our loss would be $199.97 but it's better than $520! If Randy doesn't even know the problem with our battery that is a problem that just won't go away.
