 + 5 moreScott Szczerbinski helped work through a variety of quotes and contractors. One quote was for $50,000. The workmen were professional, neat and accomplished. The outside was as undisturbed as possible. They made every effort to protect windows and the house and grounds while they were excavating and pouring concrete. Every day Scott would call to tell me what was being done that day and the time schedule. He also worked very well with a landscaping project that was being done after they completed different phases of the project. The best thing that I can say is that I felt he actually listened to the problems with the drainage and was the only contractor to deal with that problem, which obviously caused the other issues. Everything was done with great attention to detail and was done very well.
Description of Work: S & S managed the project and brought in subcontractors to rebuild a corner of the basement where 1 wall was moving out and 2 others were moving in. They excavated, straightened the walls, put in steel re-inforcing bars, re-did part of the basement floor, did drain tiles inside and out, mortared the walls and filled holes dug by other companies giving estimates. They also addressed the drainage issues that had caused the problems. They installed an additional sump pump and a dry well outside to pump drainage from the back of the property to the street.
