Steve Clausing Construction - Your Window Specialist

Paul, sales guy, promptly responded to my inquiry for a estimate on replacing 9 original windows in my home built in 1930. Paul scheduled a meeting with me for an estimate and was very flexible in finding a time that fit into my schedule. I quoted the job with a few other contractors and Paul by far seemed the most genuine, taking the time to fully understand exactly what I wanted and provided a quote that met all of my asks. The quote was very competitive with the other quotes I received, others were providing "COVID Discounts" of some sort but were still higher in cost than this quote without discounts. Once I decided to go with Steve Clausing for the job, Paul come back out to our house, thoroughly reviewed the quote and contract with me and answers all questions. Shortly thereafter, Steve Clausing came out to take measurements for the windows. Steve was very personable, took the time to hear my concerns and to understand what I was looking for. Overall, great interaction with both Paul and Steve. It took approx. 4-5 weeks for the windows to come in, ours were interesting as all 9 windows had slightly different dimensions. Steve did the job himself all in one day, taking the time to ensure all windows were adjusted properly and working well before leaving. Overall, I would highly recommend Steve Clausing Construction to anyone looking for a quality contractor that is honest and does the job right.

Steve is a great guy to work with. Installed 8 new double hung windows by himself in a day. Very professional workmanship.

Excellent.. Steve is not only an installer, he is a craftsman and a perfectionist. This is the second time I have used Steve.

Steve was very punctual and worked extremely efficiently.  We had new storms put on one day (about 18 windows) and a new front door installed on another day. We had been told by several other "window"  people that we had to pull out our entire windows (even though the interior/wood windows looked fine) and replace the whole window for thousands and thousands of dollars.  But Steve's representative assured us we could just put on new storm windows to improve the aesthetics of the house(which was our basic intent).  The quality of the storms are not quite what I would have liked, yet, they are serving the purpose of providing storm coverage, improving the looks of the house, and buying us sometime before replacing all the windows with new combinations.

The front door was also installed in one day and it is gorgeous.  The quality is very good and the style is beautiful.  While working on that day, Steve even helped me out with two other things that were going on in my laundry room. I needed to remove the woodwork along the side of the door in order to get the washer and dryer through and he was gracious enough to come and pop that off for me as well.  Very nice, professional worker!! 

I have one more large window that needs replacing and Steve Clausing will definitely be doing the work.

We had previously used Steve Clausing Construction to replace windows in our home. When it was time to replace the rest we knew the first person to call. Pricing and quality were very good. Steve was very professional and tidy. All my questions were answered, and better yet I know if any issues arise in the future I will get a prompt response.

The windows look great, they do quality work and are very meticulous, vacuums up an mess from removing the old and installing the new windows.  They only carry good quality brands of windows.

The price was very competitive (probably because they don't advertise) and the workmanship was great.  The salesman does not waste your time  like many of the other window companies that I got quotes from...the others spent 3 hours playing salesman games.  Paul (the salesman) is a straight shooter and only takes about 30 minutes or less of your time.   One of the reasons that I chose them was because they do not farm out the installation to a 3rd party like many window companies do, Steve Clausing (carpenter) does the installation.   He  comes out and does a second measurement of  the windows after the contract is signed and immediately places the order for the windows.  The windows came in and were installed even sooner than quoted.   Both Paul and Steve were very prompt.

His work was phenomenal ! He was an honest man and his prices were very reasonable. He is reliable and has fantastic craftsmanship and used high quality materials. He hand built the wood trim around the door to match the wood around the house that was put in over 100 years. Everytime we had any questions or concerns he responded immediately. He was extremely accommodating to our schedule. I would highly recommend him. We do plan on using him again in the future. I have heard nothing but good things about this man from others I have talked to.

THIS IS THE SECOND JOB WE''VE USED THIS COMPANY FOR AND WE WILL NOT HESITATE TO HIRE THEM AGAIN. (THEY CUSTOM BUILT AND INSTALLED TWO ALUMINUM-CLAD WOOD WINDOWS ON FIRST JOB.) THEY ALSO DO GENERAL REMODELING, BUT WE HAVE NOT USED THAT SERVICE...YET!
