Description of Work: We had a large addition put on our home and he followed code well and the structure seems to be very good.We went into the contract knowing we were going to do some of the work to help cut costs and he was willing to work with us on that. These were reasons that we chose him. After many issues and a lot of money later, our yard looks like a bomb went off was not leveled and graded back out so we can lay sod/seed. Things that he verbally told us he was going to do he went back on and said it was not in the contract. He took apart my existing deck and knew that we had to be able to use the stairs for our animals and to clean the area ourselves, he still put unsafe stairs on it and told me they were temporary.After I fell and was injured, and when I asked about it he said well stairs are not in the approved blueprint I will just take the stairs off and you will have not have any. That is our fault for not looking at blue print closer but we did not think to look at the existing structure or changes to it other then where to new part would join the current. He did not include gutters in the quote and had no intentions of adding them. This caused water to seep into the downstairs once spring came and he thought this was perfectly acceptable and suggested we put flooring down so we did not see the water coming in so we installed the gutters ourselves. This did solve the issue like he said it would.(not sure why he would not include them if he knew this would be an issue) The moral of the story is if you use this guy make sure that you have everything in writing do not take his word for anything that is not written. I would not suggest having doors done by him I have had 2 doors one a sliding door and the French outside door and both are unlevel and the locks do not work correctly. He blamed this on the doors themselves and not how they were installed. Communication skills are horrible and we would not see or hear from him for weeks at a time even when we would attempt to contact him during this time period.

+ -1 moreHe is a very good basement guy. He is honest and a little over charge. He gives report based on what we really need. He also gave some opinion on a crawlspace on another house. He is congenial. He is usually reachable quickly. He does the work himself. He doesn't take the job that he couldn't do. He likes to help people and not just to make money. He cleans pretty well after himself. He is pretty busy, but he will not avoid anyone. Sometimes, he is so busy that he can't make it on time, but he doesn't do it intentionally.
Description of Work: We used R & B Construction Inc two months to take care of reinforcing the walls to steel bars for the sales purpose.
