All of this happened at the beginning of summer. I have left messages over and over and he has NEVER called back. He still has my lawn mower ( a nice, fairly new one) and my $300. Regarding the walkway, he never performed the work and never brought over the supplies. I have left numerous messages on both his cell phone and his home phone.
Description of Work: Tony, the owner, had done work for me for several years. He was pleasant, dependable, and did a decent job. Though he was sometimes difficult to reach. Our arrangement was that I would call him when my grass needed cutting. When I had a long stretch of being unable to reach him, and my grass was really high, I hired another company to do my lawn work and left him a message telling him that. While I was out of town he left me a hand written note, which I still have, saying he'd taken my lawn mower to have the blades sharpened. He also, in one of two notes, listed times he claimed to have cut my grass. Other than a few times that I did owe him for (he typically sent a bill at the end of the season) they were after I had told him not to cut my grass any more. Some happened the day after my grass had been cut! He also was going to put in a walkway on the side of my garage. He asked for a check for $300 for supplies, which I gave him.
