Not good. We parted amiably but never again! Tom's price came in at the lower middle of the range and he seemed professional in our initial dealings so we hired him with recommendation from one other contractor. Then he showed up days late after being notified weeks in advance of the start date. It just went down hill from there. He did finish the job after walking off the job twice. He is very suspicious of people and does not get along well with other contractors at all. He simply can't be on the site if any other contractors are there. He wants money up front and then notifies you at the end of all the change orders he did with out notice or providing a price up front for them. He also tries to hold up the job until you pay. On the final day, he left the job knowing there was a gas leak in the house. When we called the next day he said he would get to it when he could. I think that sums up the quality of this contractor.
