Their rates are very reasonable, they are knowledgeable, they are very attentive, and call you back when you have questions.

They wanted a down payment before starting, so I sent the deposit to them. Over a week later, I hadn't received a phone call so I called them asking when they could start. They said the work would be done the following week. The work was then done as requested, and it was a good job. However, I received a nasty phone call about how the final payment was due and I was planning on paying it by the end of the month, but apparently is was due upon completion of work (while we were not home).
Work was good, but customer service attitude needs adjustment. I'll recommend trying someone else for landscaping work.

"Our contract stated that payment is due within 5 days of completion. Left numerous emails and phone calls to customer asking for payment and customer finally responded almost a month after the job was completed. Customer agreed to terms prior to us doing work but did not pay his balance until a month after the work was completed. Did not return any phone calls or emails explaining his reason for non-payment."

I had contracted another company to perform lawn mowing for the summer. That company stopped performing the service and sub-contracted Jim K's. I have receipts and cancelled checks proving my payment. My father had also been subcontracted by the same company. My father was not satisfied with the work and attempted to discuss his preferences with the person there to do the work. They were very rude and actually began yelling at him. My father fired them after 4 mowings both on the spot and via a phone call to Jim K's. They mowed my lawn 10 times and did a fair job. One day I received a phone call from a very rude individual who left me a voice mail stating that Jim K's was placing a lien against my house for payment of services to both properties. They never contacted my father directly, but instead held me responsible for both properties. This was the first time either my father or I had received any communication at all from Jim K's. I called the original contractor who had not received any invoices for service from Jim K's. When the contractor asked for the invoice, he was charged for 20 visits instead of the actual 14 that were made between the two properties. My father attempted to call and clarify the services and the person in the office was very rude, yelled at him, and hung up on him. I would have appreciated a polite individual to call me and discuss the issue in a professional manner in order to clarify any miscommunication regarding payment. Instead, the company was rude, threatening, and unprofessional. Also, there were several times that no individuals on the crew spoke English. In my neighborhood, it would be more beneficial to have both English and Spanish speaking crew members.

terrible! to add insult to injury we received the invoice in the mail the same day, even though they did not finish the job. then they started calling and faxing requesting payment even though they made a mess and did not finish. we paid to get rid of them.

"We went to this property to trim bushes, the lady had a huge pile of debris that she expected us to haul away for free. As a company we have dump charges and this was not part of the proposal that she accepted. She did not want to haul her own debris away and expected us to do it free of charge. She even had her own dumpster but would not put her debris in it because then she would have to pay for another dumpster but expected us to pay for her debris that was not apart of our bush trimming work."
