FRANKLIN OVERHEAD DOOR

sold me 2 cables and half hr. to crimp and install cable--$118.00 ( simple spllcing job!

I spoke to Jake (owner) over the phone and he was very accommodating-he was able to come out within the hour to fix the broken spring. Jake was punctual, professional, and very courteous. He completed the work within an hour (including lubrication and adjustment of the garage door). I will definitely use Franklin Overhead Door again. Thanks again, Jake!!

One of the cables on our 2 car garage door broke in the morning as closed the door to leave for work. I called Franklin Overhead Door at 8 am on my way into work. Jake mentioned they had a busy morning, but would get to my home by noon. I returned home at the end of the same day to find a new cable in place, and the door functioning again. A very reasonable invoice had been left for me in the garage, which I was happy to pay promptly.

My garage door had been occasionaly sticking in the up position and on two occasions, just dropped when I closed it. When I called Franklin Overhead, a "real" person answred the phone.  We discussed my problem, then made the appointment.  The owner came to my residence at the appointed time and looked everything over completely.  The service needed was completed the same day in a timely manner.  My garage door now works much more quietly with no problems.

He was honest and a nice guy. He was right on time. He did not try to take advance of me, as I did not know anything about garage doors. He put it in layman’s term so that I could understand. He was really honest and that impressed me. I would absolutely use his services again in the future.

They did an off the charts A job. They called me back within 2 or 3 hrs on a Sunday night, which was completely unexpected. The quality of the work has been excellent.

Jake came over the same day and fixed the door. The next day he returned to install the reinforcing bars. He was very accomodating after he first arrived the second day and found that the door was locked preventing him access to the garage. No no one was home to answer the door or his telephone calls, but returned the same day after we finally go in touch. After the spring broke, the opener was pulling much more weight and it was actually starting to tear the door apart. He provided an economical fix to the problem and didn't try to sell us a new door.

I tried to contact another Angie's List recommendation first, since they advertised 24 hour service. After 4 unsuccessful attempts (I got an answering service telling me that the company was unable to receive messages at the time--approximately 6:30 a.m. on a Monday morning). I thought I would try another Angie's List recommendation a little closer to home. I reached Jake immediately, a few minutes before 7:00 a.m., which was a blessing! My car was trapped in the garage and I needed to get to work. He was at my house within 45 minutes, quickly diagnosed the problem & fixed it within an hour. He was extremely polite. The price seemed reasonable as well.

Jake visited the same day I called to give an estimate and installed the next day. I didn't have to be home & miss work during the installation. Jake even called later that day to see if I had any questions.

One of the springs broke on a Sunday afternoon. Jake called back early the following morning and arrived shortly thereafter to replace the spring. We agreed with his recommendation to have both springs replaced. Jake also lubricated the door and made a height adjustment. He is very professional, courteous, and prompt. The price was competitive. We are very pleased with Jake's work, and we highly recommend him.

GARAGE DOOR SPRING BROKE. CALLED JAKE, MOST WILLING TO COME OUT IMMEDIATELY FOR REPAIR. PROFESSIONAL, QUICK SERVICE, REASONABLY PRICED.

WE CALLED HIM VERY SHORTLY AFTER MOVING INTO THE OUR NEW HOME. I CAME HOME AND SHUT THE GARAGE DOOR, I HEARD A LOUD BANG AND WE FOUND A SPRING HAD BROKEN. I CALLED HIM THAT EVENING AND HE WAS OUT HERE FIRST THING THE NEXT MORNING. THE PRICE WAS VERY GOOD, HE DOES GIVE FREE ESTIMATES ALSO. HE REPLACED BOTH SPRINGS SO THAT WE WOULD KNOW THEY WOULD GO AROUND THE SAME TIME IN THE FUTURE AND HE WAS IN AND OUT OF HERE IN ABOUT 45 MINUTES. IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE.
