It went great. The Carstensen team is great and they asked me about every detail I wanted in my home as we were in the builiding 
process. They stand by their work and do a great job.

He is a very high-end builder and that was one of the reasons why we chose him, but we were disappointed. He was not building too many houses at that particular time. He said that he would only take up two houses at a time so that he could give personal attention to everybody. We decided to try him under the premise that we would get his personal attention. Unfortunately, what we did not understand was that he had decided to break out to do commercial work at the same time. He had signed up to do a parade of homes and this was happening at the time that we were supposed to have our house built. Our house got kind of left in the corner while he was doing all these things. They were still within the nine-month period on the contract but things did not move along fast. It would sit idle for months and months and no one would be working on the house in the middle of summer which is a peak time for doing building work. He was just working on his parade homes or doing something else. We thought that we had finally got a high-quality home but we are now finding out about all these flaws that had happened because our house was put on hold while they could do other things. They did not put in the quality for our house and things were getting missed. The house was not finished when it was supposed to and I could not do any cleaning before moving in. They were still working on the house even after we had moved in. Way back, when we started, he was definitely capable of doing a good job and that is what we thought we were getting, but all of a sudden he started branching out into different things and it was not the nice personal builder to work with anymore. I don't know whether I would recommend anybody building with him anymore.
