They have a number of very qualified electricians on their staff. They are very busy, so I would say that their punctuality is remarkable for how busy they are, and their prices are competitive. There is no such thing as a cheap electrician, but their quality is excellent.

They were very prompt. They figured out it was an emergency situation and they came right out and got it taken care of. They were easy to work with and they are customer oriented. Their price was pretty reasonable.

I spoke with the owner and told him what we needed done and that we hoped to coordinate it with the roofers. He answered my questions with great detail and was extremely helpful in guiding our decisions on what type of light fixtures we could get and how they might increase/decrease the labor time (pull chain v. wall switch, etc...).

He also warned me that if we were going to get an exhaust fan with a heater function, they'd probably have to run a new circuit up to the top floor because old houses typically have everything on one circuit. He made a point of saying that the process of finding a way from the basement to the 2nd floor can be time consuming in old houses and thus, expensive.

He said they 'd take care of all the permit stuff for the outlet too.

He gave me 2 quotes accounting for the different possibilities (running a new circuit or not) and they were reasonible. Reggie was the electrician who actually came out to do the work. He was great - very thorough.

We did run into and quot;The Curse of the Old Houseand quot; but we felt like Reggie kept us informed, didn't waste time on futile attempts, and ultimately found a way to get a new circuit up to the bathroom. It was expensive (over the highest quote), but we'll enjoy it come wintertime. They dealt with the permit and inspection, and I love our new lights, fan, and switches.

Overall, I'm very happy with the level of service, expertise, and outcome of our association with Ready Electric. We will definitely call them again.
