The purchase was made easy by the sales rep's knowledge of all the brands that the company carried. The delivery team was exceptional. They were very very careful not to damage anything and were very friendly and courteous. They were able to do the complete set up of the range and test it for accuracy.

Dishwasher was working intermittently. Service came to diagnose within a couple of days of call, reset dishwasher control panel. Later didn't work again. He returned a few days later to diagnose again, and later came back to replace the part once it came in. The service call was not charged for second and third visits. We were informed that if the issue happened again within 30 days there would be no service call charge. SOMEwhat comforting... To be fair- I am more unhappy with the quality of our somewhat expensive and fairly new Kitchen Aid dishwasher than I am with the service. It would have however been nice if the "diagnosis" could have been a bit quicker.

Great.
We had a policy with the local utility and after inspecting the leak, they tightened the valve and told us to call if it still leaked. It continued to leak and we called them and left a message. They never called back. We called Silica.

The customer service at Silica is amazing. They were helpful, but not pushy. I had recently moved into a new house and was in need of a washer and dryer as well as a grill. They let me know of my options, along with the quality and ratings of products. In addition they gave me a discount for purchasing multiple items. This was a nice surprise as it was not a posted posted deal. It was something offered to me by the manager as I was purchasing several large items.
After purchasing the items the sales person helped me set up a delivery date for my items. When the purchases came they delivery people were on time, pleasant and set up the washer and dryer for me.
Over all the experience was great. I will be going back to them for future appliance purchases.

They are an excellent appliance store. They back their products so you don't just have to go through the company you buy from. I trust them. I haven't had anything maintained but I know they stand behind their product. They've sold 50 of the same appliance that I bought through the past two years and they assured me that no one complained about the service. Their price is that of the people who manufacture the appliances.

On this review, I said I would go to this store again, but I wish there was a 'maybe' option. I'm really inclined to say 'no', but I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it was the machine and not the store that is the problem? I was angry that we spent so much money, only to not be able to do our laundry TWICE within the first two months. I had a cheap washer and drying prior to this that needed that much service in the whole 10 YEARS I had it. So, I don't know if I'd go to this store again. Maybe.

The service call started out because our washer was "walking" when spinning. The service man opened it up, and advised us we were lucky it was still working. (Well, it was underwater in a flood 3 years ago!) He said the bearings were going and throwing it off balance. He then told us he would balance it...and not to spend any more money repairing it. We were told to just let it die...Talk about honest!!!

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE TWO YOUNG PEOPLE THAT DELIVERED AND INSTALLED THE WASHER AND DRYER. WE HAVE STEPS THAT YOU MUST TURN TO GET INTO THE BASEMENT AND THE CARE THAT WAS GIVEN TO OUR HOME WAS AMAZING. VERY COURTEOUS YOUNG PEOPLE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT INSTALLING THE WASHER AND DRYER.
