Our roof was getting to the point where we were worried it wouldn't last another winter, so we started calling people for bids. We received some really high bids, and some contractors didn't even call us back. One day, I noticed my neighbor was having a new roof installed, so I walked over and introduced myself to the contractor. He gave me a quote the next day and dropped off some sample shingles. The quote was within our budget, and we were impressed with how quickly he got back to us.
After accepting the bid, Nick told us that he would start on the following Wednesday morning. Like clockwork, at 6 a.m. Wednesday morning, we heard footsteps on the roof. By the end of the day, Nick and his crew had torn off our shingles, replaced the roof and cleaned up the mess. It has now been about six months, and I have yet to find a errant nail or shingle remnant in our yard. He and his team did a great job and were very easy to work with.
In fact, the entire process was so flawless that we had Gassner Custom Carpentry come back to re-side the garage, replace the garage roof, and reconstruct the swing-out (barn style) garage doors. Again, within a day we had a detailed quote, and when the job was accepted, he and his crew showed up on time and got to work right away. The garage now matches our home beautifully, and we get many compliments on what a beautiful carpentry job was done on the garage doors.
They did great work and Gassner Custom Carpentry will be the first place my wife and I call for home projects, for now on.
