We had no agreement with the general contractor and he just brought Demko Electric Inc. in on his own, and then we got the bill. We were informed that the general contractor’s wife, Sally helped him on the project. She said that we would get a bill from the electrician. The general contractor subcontracted it and didn’t inform us that we would get a bill. I don’t know if $300 is worth complaining. The electrician did okay. It is just that we wanted to know about the bill; because they did charge us. He came in three days for two hours a day. It was six hours of labor at $40 an hour, which came to $240, and then the final bill with parts was $304.50. We were very satisfied with the electrician’s work. He itemized everything and put a price on everything that he put in. We are going to keep him in mind and use him again in the future.
