I use Waggin Tails both to board my dog and for occasional day care. The staff are friendly and love animals and Toby loves to go there.

Very excited to have dogs try doggy daycare while boarded. Bummed that I did not get daily reports on what they did or itemized receipt.

Our dog seems very happy to be there and play. She comes home all worn out.

While, Waggin Tails is not the cheapest place, it is a great place to take your dog. I would certainly recommend it. The staff are very friendly and our dog always comes home tired. It is a great way to keep her socialized. I will say that like any daycare (dog or child) be aware of the spread of viruses. Every once in a while, our dog picks up a virus - they share water bowls. Just be prepared to pay for antibiotics.

They have lots of activities for the dog so they are never bored and usually come home tired and ready for a nap. It is nice having a pool, groomer and vet right there. My only concern is the staff. You can tell the staff members who love dogs and have been there for some time and really are nice and seem to care. The other side of the coin is there seems to be a revolving door of new staff members who I just don't get that same feeling from. I'm sure its hard paying and keeping good staff but I often wish there was more communication or something like a webcam where an owner could check in from time to time.

We take our German Shepherd to Waggin' Tails day care twice weekly. The staff know her by name and she responds positively every time she's greeted by them. I highly recommend this service.
I also recommend the boarding. We went on vacation and left our dog in their hands for a week, in the meantime our dog became sick. The staff notified us immediately. I suggested it was nerves, but the manager who knows her very well from day care thought there was more to it. She recommended that she see the vet; I agreed. The vet, who is on-sight, called me and filled me in on her condition. They put her on some medication and by the time we picked her up she was bright eyed and bushy tailed.
We've used the grooming services in the past and have been less than impressed. It was difficult to tell that she had even been bathed and the nails were still very long. We go elsewhere for grooming now, but aside from grooming this place is top notch.

I love them and they have a lot of services available in one place. They do daycare, boarding, give baths, nail clipping, they have a vet on site. It is nice to have everything accessible. They have a lot of outdoor space for the dogs and have very neat boarding arrangements. The dogs don't have to be kenneled, they have actual apartments that the dogs can sleep in the beds. It is not that expensive either. We used to take her to another place that was significantly more expensive. It is not any more then you would pay for boarding and day care is included.

I was not enthusiastic about taking my dog (1.5 year old alaskan malamute) to a kennel every day, but she has separation anxiety and it was my last option as the heat picked up. Upon a non-negative review from friends, and the most convenient location, I went to Waggin' Tails. I didn't want her to go in the daycare there because it seems SO excessively crowded and she can be a bit nervous. More than that, the staff seems very young and overall not too knowledgable about dog behavior. One woman that I spoke with was really great, but she couldn't be there all the time (I wish I could remember her name, she was super)! I told the staff about her anxiety issues, but despite this and my questions upon pick-up, I never recieved more than a "she did fine" report (unless the good woman was there). They did tell me when she was trying to climb the yard fence and moved her to an interior kennel after that. But I found out later that she had to move back to the runs because she was chewing the wood in the room they started putting her in. Communication beyond the first day was spartan. Because the chewing incident was not communicated to me the day it happened, I have since not returned. She obviously did not like it either, she tucked her tail as we'd walk up and maul me when I picked her up.
I have since found other daycare options (that she loves!), and the separation anxiety is lessening so I hope to leave her at home again by the end of the summer. Despite having a few days left on the 10 day pass I purchased, I will not go back unless the situation forces it.
To be fair, I believe the first day the staff treated her great - they ate lunch with her, had her in the yard etc. It could be that they did that every day, but they never told me, so I can only assume that after the first day or so, they kind of left her be (which is what I was paying for, so I have no problem with that). But, I expect when a problem arises that I be told about it at least that day.
I have heard other negative, and some positive reviews of Waggin' Tails. Sadly, mine was overall a less than satisfactory experience. Perhaps using the daycare makes for a better experience.
