Mark Hughes responded to my request to come to my home to look at my dishwasher that was having issues. After running the dishwasher and checking it out, he stated that it was my best bet to just purchase a new dishwasher instead of attempting to repair my current one. I was fine with this recommendation. He stated that he also does dishwasher installations for $75 I needed assistance with that after I purchased one. He stated he would be charging me the $25 service fee for the visit. I gave him my credit card and paid the charge. I received a text receipt. When Mark left, I reviewed my text and saw that he charged me $135. I called him right away and he apologized for for charging me the $135 in error. He stated that if I had him install my new dishwasher, that would be $100 ($75 install + $25 service fee) and then he would owe me $10. I stated that that was fine since I planned on purchasing the dishwasher quickly. I stated I was fine with him not refunding me the $10 until he came for the install. After purchasing my dishwasher, I contacted Mark and he scheduled to do the install 3 days later. On the day of the install, Mark called me and stated he needed to reschedule, for 7 days later. I sent him a message and stayed I'd be able to have someone else complete the installation prior to 7 days. I requested that he refund me the $110 that he overcharged me on the original visit. Mark called me immediately and stated that he didn't overcharge me and then stated that he charged me $125 as a travel fee and then $10 for the square charge since I used a card to pay. This was obsurd and completely untrue. He didn't budge and would not refund me my money.
