Most recent was a complete garage reorganization that included cleaning walls and ceiling, hauling debris to the recycling center and packing up things for winter storage.
We had an accumulation of used and broken gardening pots, toys, tools, etc. They cheerfully sorted through everything without judgement, following the general storage plan I laid out. They didn't throw anything away without being sure I didn't want it. Megan in particular is a whiz at sorting and cleaning as she goes.
While Megan was fine tuning the tool bench Brandon used the time to clean up in the yard, bringing in all of the ornaments and tools for the season, packing them up for storage, and raking out some of the flower beds. He picked up all of the rakings and blew out the driveway without being asked. They then helped me haul everything to our storage unit where Megan again organized everything so it was accessible but with no wasted space.
My only regret is that i have not been using them for these types of chores all along.
