I?d like to comment on a very positive home mortgage refinance experience I had with White Oak Mortgage in August 2012. I worked with Paul Harder who was very responsive to my many questions and concerns. We ran into one potential obstacle which fortunately, Paul was able to overcome. Without his help I would not have gotten the refinance which brought my rate down 2 percentage points! The appraisal on my home came in substantially lower than what I had expected based on what Paul was aware of for similar homes in my immediate area. Paul immediately worked to get documentation on recent comparable homes. He provided them to the appraiser and we were fortunately able to use those comparables. This brought my appraisal up to beyond what was necessary for me to do the refinance. This type of service is a bit out of the ordinary. Paul took a genuine interest in getting my loan done, just as if it had been for himself or a family member. I almost forgot to mention that there were no closing costs (something having to do with my rate lock) and this took place without raising my payment or my loan balance! It was just a very positive experience that saved me a substantial amount of money. I would most definitely highly recommend White Oak Mortgage to anyone looking for a mortgage or to refinance.
