The job was begun in the fall and then stopped for winter. In the spring we had to call and call and call to get them to restart the job. No one ever returned our calls. Finally my husband resorted to calling the president of the company every morning and leaving a message with his secretary. Eventually he got through to the president who was mostly concerned with not getting a bad review. Workmen then showed up (unannounced) and began the work again. This went on for some time. As the end of the project neared, we asked that they replace a bad limestone step that had been putty filled. That took until December of 2016. The salesman showed up without a call ahead of time and walked through to my backyard. I figured he was looking at the step, but he never came to the door to let me know what was going on. A few days later two workmen showed up in my yard (again unannounced) and replaced the step. Again zero communication. If you want them to fertilize that may be fine, but go somewhere else for hard scape projects. There are too many other fine companies who will be more responsive.

It only took 3 hours and 15 minutes for 2 men to do the spring clean up. I had roughly 3 hours left and 3 men came out and they worked for 1 hour each together. At the end of that hour, I was told that the three hours I had coming was used up because they charged 1 hour per man.

Landscape maintenance will be an ongoing project with them. They did a great job cleaning up a large yard that had been neglected for a couple of years.

They are doing well. They do what I ask them to do. I would like the price to be a little bit less. I've been using them for years.

They'll call the day before or two days before to tell you when they'll be going to be there.

We used them for years. We do NOT use them for fertilization but we BUY products from them like mulch and stuff. They have always done a good job. I don't remember our last contact with them last spring maybe. I don't know how much the cost of service since my husband did it. They are just a few blocks from us so we have dealt with them for many years and we found them to be reasonable and good. We get things that we need for our yard like mulch and stuff. I am pleased with what we have gotten from them. Usually we are going there because we are so close and talk to them. They didn't really come to our house but there were times that they delivered some stuff. We got the stuff from them.

Their pricing was right in the market and in line with others. Their treatments seemed to control the weeds and everything is okay. They would come out, treat the yard, and I usually didn't even see them for the treatments. They man who came out was for the landscaping estimate was very nice and professional. He took a look at the yard and gave me suggestions on what I could do. He was very polite and helpful. When the guys come out to build the berm, instead of knowing exactly what to do, they asked me a lot of questions on how to create the berm when I did not know much about it. They worked with me and everything ended up fine. There were a couple of areas I noticed where they were coming down along the edging where they had cut it too wide. Because I was very busy, I did not have a chance to contact them for a couple of months. When I finally contacted them, they worked with me and came back out. They had to re-trim it and put out some grass seed, but it was so close late in the season, there were a lot of limitations on what they could do. As far as I know, everything had been fine. I will be definitely be using them again for the lawn service next year.

They were a little expensive, and probably do a better job, but I didn't decide who to go with.I would consider using them in the future.

They're fine. They're very professional, and did a good job. They sent a person to inspect the tree, and we discussed because we had such a dry, hot summer and I was afraid that the tree was stressed so, he looked at everything and made his recommendations. It turned out there's nothing needed to be done. The price was reasonable. Responsiveness was very good.

They did a really nice. I felt like the price was reasonable. Everyone who came into my home was very courteous. They were prompt in getting back to me with estimates and starting the work.

Contractor called a day or two before to schedule. Arrived on day scheduled. Dandelions were knocked out and grass grew fast.
My biggest complaint was that they fertilized before the hot dry spell we had that summer. The lawn got burnt in the areas where the spreader turned around (overlapping fertilizer). This year those areas are have dead grass.
I'll do it myself this year.
They probably are a good company, but last summer was not normal. Plus we don't water the grass too often.
I believe I left a message last year about the burnt areas, but there was no response.

They've been very good. They are punctual and the do quality work.

Kanavas has performed landscape work for us on a couple of occasions and they are solid, but not stellar. They talked us into a 'cheaper' alternative that then required ongoing maintenance--better for them, not quite what we had in mind. They were reasonably punctual and responsive. I wouldn't recommend against them and we had no major concerns. They are cheaper than some other firms in the area, thus the 'A' rating on price.

They come about 3 times a year because we have really nasty issues with mosquitoes. I think very highly of them and think they are a great company. I would love to use them for fertilizing but there are companies that are offering the service at half their price. It is hard to say if the quality is as good, probably not, but in this economy I just can't afford it. They are very competitive on the pest control side and I would love to use them for fertilizing. They are just a great company. I have used them in the past for fertilizing and aeration. I think some of the issue may be how they structure their bill because it makes it look like more than it is but the absolute dollar is more. I wish I didn't have to use the company that I use. They provide great service and the people are knowledgeable. They are hands down better than the competitor that I went with. They are great and they come on a dime for the mosquitoes. They have been great on coming when I need them. Their prices are excellent for the mosquito control.

They come out three times a year. I am very pleased with them. They are professional. They come when they say they will and they do what they say they are going to do. They pay attention to what I say and take care of special needs or requests that I have. They are really fine. They do lawn work, landscape management and landscape design but I have not used them for any of that. Their price is very competitive. I am going to continue using them.
