Ancora is very professional, had great insight with their product/design recommendations, and was very responsive to our concerns. We did feel they rushed the project a bit and due to that lost attention to detail in areas.

I selected a tile at Lexco and they provided me with a list of recommended installers. I compared the Lexco list to Angies List and noted that Ancora had received four reviews and all scores were and quot;Aand quot;s. I called them and within a couple days they got me an estimate and scheduled the work for a foyer and hallway. I was in a rush to get the job done and since they already had a Mequon job going they were able to fit me in within a week. They have an uncompromising approach to excellent customer service and their knowledge of the industry and emphasis on continuing education was evident by their recommendations that assured an attractive and long lasting job. We had a miscommunication on one part of the job and they immediately and without complaint resolved the issue to my wife's satisfaction for no additional cost. They were a real pleasure to work with.

In the kitchen they installed a backsplash behind the cooktop using two different types of tiles and another smaller backsplash between the counter and a raised lunch counter. They were punctual, friendly, neat and easy to work with. Beautiful workmanship. Will definitely use them again if I need more tile work.

Chris and Chad from Ancora were very enthusiastic about our fireplace project from the beginning. They pointed us to a great stone supplier for the fireplace facing and we found a stone we love. We had an especially challenging request to create a floating cement hearth, which they were more than willing to tackle. They worked with us to design a hearth that would meet code and provide the look we were going for, then poured and installed it. When the color wasn't what we expected, they poured a second hearth (which is the perfect color) and replaced the first. They also installed the stone; the overall effect of the stone and cement is great.

Everything went great. They came on time and completed the job as scheduled. No extra charges, no surprises. They cleaned up all messes when they left, we couldn't have been happier. Every employee we met was clean cut and respectful. We felt completely comfortable with every one of their employees in our house. I have used Ancora in the past and I'd use them again without hesitation.
Its a nice change to deal with a contractor that does what they say they are going to do without nickel and diming you every time they run into an issue.

Thanks to Ancora our granite floor now looks great. They came when they said they would be there and they did what they said they would do. They quoted me a price upfront and that is exactly what I paid. No overages or extra charges like so many other contractors. We highly recommend the guys at Ancora.
