I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Adams Electric, and I feel compelled to share my story so others can be aware. Over the past few months, Adams Electric has failed to complete electrical work that was promised, left my home in disarray, and charged outrageous fees for unresolved issues—including a $540 bill for a toilet that still doesn’t work after three visits. I personally went to their office in tears, asking for help, and my concerns were completely ignored. I have sent multiple requests for resolution, yet I have received no accountability or action from their leadership. As a company that claims to be faith-based and community-driven, their lack of integrity is deeply disappointing. I will be pursuing every possible avenue to get the resolution I deserve, including reporting them to consumer protection agencies and escalating this issue publicly if needed. I sincerely hope Adams Electric chooses to do the right thing and take responsibility for their actions.

The Adams crew installed a Generac whole house generator last week. We ordered the generator early November so their timing was excellent. The crew showed up on time and were very thorough in their walk around explaining how the installation would take place and answered all pertinent questions. They were very knowledgeable, professional and I will recommend them to our neighbors. Very happy with their service. Jeff Frantz

The technician was very pleasant and professional. He resolved my A/c problem very quickly and checked everything thoroughly. He gave me some helpful suggestions to avoid future problems.

In 2002, my 22 year old son suffered a traumatic brain injury while skiing. We built an addition on to our home to care for him 24 hours a day. At the time, his care required the use of equipment to keep him functioning. We had a generator installed for those occasions when the power went out. Many times this generator was needed and it kept my son alive. We had it serviced each year for $300. For 18 years we promptly paid $5,400 for service. My son died in 2018 and I kept servicing the generator because my husband had died from cancer in 2013 and I was trying to maintain the household and fearful of a gas generator in disrepair blowing up. In 2021, I had the generator serviced in the summer as I had continued to do, and 3 months later when a storm caused the power to go out the generator did not come on. I called ADAMS the next morning and was told that that shouldn’t have happened and they would send out a technician. The technician arrived a few days later and informed me that the generator was set to exercise “too high” and it had overheated and turned itself off. He reset it to the proper level and cordially assured me that all was now well and I was grateful. He was a very nice young man. I mistakenly assumed that this was a courtesy call to rectify the mistake of the previous technician who had set the generator too high 3 months before. When the bill for $135 appeared for the repair, I refused to pay it. I called many times and the one time I got through, I tearfully explained my long story to the receptionist, including the fact that if my son had still been alive, the broken generator would have ended his life. She said she was sorry for my loss and that she would take care of it. However, I continued to get bills and am now threatened with a collection agency and damage to my credit score. I am not worried about my very high excellent credit score. I have paid every bill I have ever I received all 68 years of my life and have raised 6 adult children to do exactly the same, as they are doing for all 15 of my grandchildren. I am paying this $135 bill and hope it goes right into the pocket of the technician who reset the generator properly but they probably fired him for telling me the truth. Do business with this company at your own risk.

Misleading sales tactics. I was solicited by one of there appointment setters. Ashley called me and told me I had a tune-up left on my contract (I purchased a 4 pk). I questioned her if I really had one left, she confirmed that I did. Adam's came out and serviced my a/c, they did a good job doing that. But I was surprised that I was billed for the service call that Ashley told I would not be charged for. I contacted the billing department, I was then informed that Ashley "was mistaken" and I would have to pay for the service call, an extra $125 that I had not planned on spending. Basically, their company made an error and I got stuck paying for it. I am not happy with the company's lack of accountability. I have been a long time customer of Adams/Logterman, now I will be going elsewhere.

I hired Adams for 2 different projects last year. Both electricians were very pleasant and knowledgeable. They did a great job!. I love the new vintage look in my kitchen and bathrooms!

They did a good job but they were kinda high on the price.

I called Adams based on their Angie's rating and was very happy with the person I spoke with and he was able to fit us in that day. He traced the short and completely repaired the problem.

Initially, I did not get a speedy response. When I called back and asked if my job was too small for the company, the secretary transferred me to the owner who provided excellent service and reassurance that no job is too small. From that point forward I received over and above excellent service from every person I spoke with. The electrician who came out was professional, personable, and very easy to talk to. He offered me multiple options and explained things in detail. He spoke warmly about the company and that doesn't happen every day.

Adams Electric far exceeded my expectations for a contractor. They take their work seriously and really care about the job they leave behind. They were always on time, and ready to work. They followed the blueprints and all measurements were perfect. All the work was explained to me before anything was started. I didn't have any "surprises" when the bill came in. I've done 2 previous kitchen remodels and Adams Electric is by far the most efficient and cost effective electrical company to use. I will only use them from now on.

The service guy was great! Instead of installing a new light fixture, he disabled the sensor and replaced the bulb. Saved us some money. he was on time, courteous and professional.

Great job, very friendly company>  They removed a large kitchen light fixture that I had destroyed on my own.  Then they
did a great job installing the new large fixture.  very happy with their work!  I needed the work done for a Christmas
party and they helped me at short notice, too.

They were great as always. Prompt courteous. Found that the toggle switch had broken. Always show you what's wrong. Discuss options. Never try and gouge anyone. Love them will always have them back.

They were good. They did everything they needed to do. They showed up on time and they got the job done.

I had Adams come out to ground outlets.  He found 9 that need grounding but it turned into a bigger job than I first thought because some had 2 different kinds of wiring.  Also he said that per the new code he would need to change the wiring, the boxes and the fuses.  I asked for a quote so he called his boss and explained the work.  I was given a verbal quote of $1500.00 and told it would take all day so I would have to reschedule.  I said ok to the job.  When he came out to do the work he said he would have a partner and that it would take 2 days.  When he was finished everything was cleaned up so you didn't even know anything was done.  I was very happy with the results until I got the bill, it was for $2200.00.  I called Adam and complained about the big difference between the quote and the bill, he said he would look it over.  He did lower the bill, so it came to $1900.00.  That was better but next time I will get it in writing.  Overall I was pleased with the work.

Ed came out about three weeks ago to survey the site, get info on where lights should be and how many outlets should be installed, etc. Due to my schedule, we couldn't proceed until this last week. Ed showed up in the morning and worked all day getting six outlets and two new overhead lights wired in. He also switched a couple of circuits so that the switch at the top of the stairs turned on one set of lights and added another switch at the bottom of the stairs to turn on the utility area lights. Everything done in record time.

I contacted Adams Electric as part of my process to get quotes for a generator. I was looking for a company that would not only sell me a product, but would also provide a seamless installation experience.  From the start they were very professional and customer focused. Rather than waving a magic wand and coming up with a price, they provided a detailed quote so that I could understand what went in to the job, and what my options were. All my questions were readily answered, and when I chose them I knew it would be a good choice. The installation team arrived on time and got right to work.  Coordination with the power company and city inspector went smoothly. I knew there would be some installation challenges due to the layout of my house, but Don, Eric and Jordon made it look easy! If I had to describe my experience with Adams Electric in one word, it would be "exceptional".

From start to finish this company was the best service organization I have encountered. Sales and service personal were competent, professional, and punctual. They installed a generator to power our entire house should our power fail. They did a superb job and I recommend them highly.
