Scott Haug Carpentry

Scott and his assistant Ben were trustworthy, reliable, and professional. Being a first-time homeowner, I especially appreciated his offering suggestions on my plans for the house (for example, he said he could get wood trim for the new bedroom doorway that would just about match the existing trim - and it looks great!). They worked carefully - the stain color on the refinished wood floors matches the other wood floors well, and they installed the cork floating floor in the kitchens very neatly around the radiators. Scott was up-front about the estimated cost of the project (time + materials), kept me informed on costs along the way, and advised me which projects I could handle myself to keep costs lower. He responded quickly to texts/calls, and was willing to do small projects as they came up along the way. Moreover, Scott is genuinely nice beyond anything and quot;requiredand quot; - even timed a trip for materials to offer me a ride along to the hardware store when he saw I was about to take the bus there!

Smooth sailing! Lots of things came up throughout the whole process that required problem solving skills and all were handled in a way that met my needs and kept us within a resonable budget. He kept me informed through out the process and allowed me to be a part of the decision making process.
