Kevin was professional and did an excellent job. Our counter top was delayed by the company we ordered it from ( which meant no sink to use) and came in on a Friday. Kevin was working that day at another site, so he came in and worked all day Saturday so we did not have to go the weekend without a kitchen sink.
Kevin did a beautiful job on the work performed.
The cost was right on for work described in the original estimate. We had him do some extra jobs, fixing walls, building the soffits, and installing crown molding, so the cost was more than quoted , but only because we had him do more work.
Yes we will hire him again!

Kevin was very careful to cover the area and our furniture before beginning the process. He then repaired the ceiling that was sagging with screws. Kevin then textured the entire ceiling to our specifications, being care to keep us involved in the process all the way. We were very pleased with the way he handled the whole thing and are very happy with the results. Kevin then painted the walls twice to our specifications. Again he keep us involved in the process so that we knowledgeable with the outcome. We are very pleased with the paint job. Kevin is very careful with preparation and cleanup after each process. We are delighted with the work and he came in on his estimate. We are working with him toward the next room. Kevin works very hard while on the job and wastes no time doing the work.

In addition to quality, reasonable work, Kevin is personable and flexible and ensured smooth coordination of his work with the flooring company and decorator also working on the house. He was also a big hit with my 2 year-old who followed him around the job site during our visits.

Without hesitation, I recommend Myers Contracting to anyone looking for hassle free and high quality remodeling. In fact, I am planning to hire Kevin again to complete a second phase of remodeling to this house and for annual maintenance on a rental property that I recently purchased.

Kevin was efficient and had this project completed in two days. He came in on Tuesday morning and it was completed by Wednesday when I arrived home from work. The floor looks perfect and I am very happy with the end result. He cleaned up very thoroughly after completing his work. I would definitely use his services again in the future.

I will hire him again, because for once I was totally satisfied with the work done by someone on our house! It took longer than I expected, but he charged just what he estimated, and we remain delighted with the quality of the work (it has been 4 months).

My experience with Meyers Contracting was exceptional. Kevin was wonderful to work with. He had very valuable input throughout both projects. He worked very neatly and efficiently and both projects have turned out beautiful. The story from the most recent project: The project started with adding the two egress windows - one for each bedroom. Next was the framing of the existing concrete walls. I had some existing thin foam insulation, but chose to add extra insulation by framing out the walls - Kevin suggested this and in my mind, this was a great decision - there are no drafts or cool air coming through the walls.The cost was definitely worth it. It really feels like a living area - NOT a basement. I also removed one wall and added a header to open up the room further. Power and electrical (including CAT5/cable) came next in the process. I am very pleased with the lighting. Kevin made a few suggestions on placement of recessed lighting, closet lighting, and adding an extra switched outlet in the bedrooms to allow a lamp to be turned off using a switch next to the bed. I love this! Once the electrical was complete - the drywall came next. This only took a few days - I watched him work on this and was very impressed. In one of my previous projects (yes, I have taken on quite a few projects - so I have experience to draw from!) I used a professional drywall contractor. I could clearly see the join on the ceiling - they had to come back and redo the ceiling and told me something about how his son was just learning...ugh! In any case, The drywall finish from Meyers Contracting was perfect. There are no visible seams - and the texturing matches the upstairs perfectly. I did my own painting and I paid to have carpet installers come in. After this piece was completed, Meyers Contracting came in and did all of the trim work. The corners are cut absolutely spot-on perfect. I would highly recommend this very professional contractor.
