Good: The packers and movers were prompt and efficient. 

Bad: I hired them to pack only things that were difficult to pack as they are "professional packers".  The packing was very inconsistent - one packer carefully wrapped a plastic water bottle in paper, while another shoved all of my yard art into a box with shovels and garden tools and no protection.  As a result, a handmade glass wind chime was irreparably broken, a sandstone sun was broken, and metal pieces were bent out of shape and weakened.  a chandelier was irreparably broken.  hooks on a coat tree were snapped off.  screws for tables were lost.  Curtains were squished into a box so were terribly wrinkled (I could have done that myself!).  Despite assuring me that boxes would be clearly labeled, each box they packed was unhelpfully marked "garage" or with one word such as "statue" despite containing not only the statue but a hat box, tools, a water bottle, and other random items. 

The only things that were broken in the move were items that they packed.  Everything I packed was fine.

When I contacted the company about the broken items, they sent me a letter highlighting the small print on the contract saying "the carrier's liability shall be the actual loss or damage not exceeding $0.60 per pound/per article."  They gave me a check for $30 which does cover anything.  They did not respond when I asked if I had any recourse. 

I would never hire them to pack again. 

I do not understand a company that does not take responsibility.

They arrived at the agreed upon time; the amount was what they quoted in their estimate; they packed and took very special care of my prized Grandmother's Clock; the three young men that did the work were very polite, courteous and friendly.  It was obvious that they had done this a number of time before!  They took great care!  They then took my items to storage until a cross-country driver was available.  The driver arrived in Nevada on time with all my merchandise.  I had a few wine glasses that broke and my jewelry box was broken but other than that, I did not have any damage.  Classic was a great company to work with and if I move back to Wisconsin or somewhere close, they will be my first point of contact to get the job done!  Great company; great service!

They were on time. They handle your furniture with care. They are very pleasant, nice, careful, diligent, and honest. They really care about their customers. The guys who do the moving do an excellent job. They have all the moving supplies with them so they keep all your items safe.
