RJ HOME EXTERIORS

On the recommendation of the window manufacturer I contacted RJ Home Exteriors to perform the replacement of eight storm windows. Although he was fairly prompt in providing a verbal quote, it took several additional requests to obtain a written quote and contract. Also, before he could provide the written quote, he had to visit the house a second time after losing his notes from his first quote. Then after signing the contract he had to come to the house twice to get the window measurements before he could order the windows. Although I had explained to the contractor from the beginning that I needed the windows to be installed before the end of the year, it took at least 4 months to get a quote and get the windows installed, which was finally completed a few days before years end. The contractor didn't properly caulk all the windows and he didn't clean up the nails, metal scraps, and paint from beneath the windows when he was done with the installation. It was very cold when he installed the windows, but if that was why the caulking and clean up weren't done, he should have explained that and offered to come back when the weather was better. Also, some of the trim doesn't fit exactly and has affected closing the interior (french) windows.
