The painting was great but a few other handyman jobs were never completed. Was looking for someone I could count on for doing small jobs I am not able to do.

Jim gives really good estimates. He is capable of doing a multitude of things. He can do minor plumbing repairs but knows when to hand it off to someone with more experience. He always cleans up after himself.

He arrived, looked over our current list, and did the window repair. We then discussed window replacement. It's out of his venue but he knows of a good window replacement person. So we'll wait to start that in the Spring. He did some window repairs since the current windows are older and leaky, as well as putting shelving into an area that was a large, dead open space. He had previously measured the area, made the shelves in his workshop and installed them. (This was our 3rd set of shelves)
We normally keep an on-going list of what we need done. Call him to get an estimate and he comes over and does the work. If we have underestimated the work or he discovers that's it's a bigger job than we thought, we then discuss cost and have the and quot;is it worth itand quot; discussion.
Or we decide to budget it later. Very flexible.
