Rectrocrete Concrete Surfacing Review

I spend some time
working on and under my cars. When my wife and I recently purchased a new SUV
our old stained and ugly garage floor looked out of place next to our vehicles
so I decided to have the floor resurfaced with epoxy.
First I got on the internet and researched a number of
websites to find the proper way to do the job. Next I called around to most of
the local companies in the area and got some prices and details on how they
would do the job. I found Retrocrete on Angies List and gave them a call. The owner Jake came out
right away, looked at my floor, gave me a price and an approximate start date.
Jake was very competitive in his
pricing and his plan was in line with
what I found to be the best method. In speaking with Jake I found he and his son where both veterans so I gave Jake the job. When they showed up Jake
and his assistant (his son) got right to work with the first step, cleaning and
degreasing the floor. I guess this is a good time to point out that this
process is not a quick deal. If you want the job to be done quickly you are cruising
to a job failure. A dry floor is and absolute necessity. The time it takes to
dry the floor is dependent on the weather and how fast your floor gives up the
moisture. I imagine no two floors are the same. At any rate when my floor was
ready, confirmed by Jakes moisture tester Jake and his son got going on the job
and it was soon obvious they new exactly what they were doing. They had, on
their well organized truck, every thing they needed to do the job right. No
running for this or that.
The floor turned out beautiful. That old stained floor
looked way better than my wife and I ever thought it would. It is now very
pleasant to drive on and be on to work on my cars.
Again this is not a fast job, so if you just want the job
done quickly (and wrong) hire some other company. Retrocrete will only do the job
as fast as the floor lets them.
I highly recommend this company. They are capable,
experienced and honest.
