My virus checker found the Zero Access virus on my computer but was unable to remove it. I researched the virus and determined that I didn't have the skill and time to remove it so I decided to take it to Milwaukee PC. I explained the problem when I dropped off the computer and they said it would take 3 to 4 buisiness days to fix. I was surprised when I received a call to find out what was wrong with my computer. No one had indicated the problem on the work order. I explained the problem so they could fix it.
Computer was ready when they stated it would be. They and quot;discountedand quot; the $99.99 price. After I booted my computer and within 60 SECONDS, my virus checker told me I had the Zero Access virus and now in 3 locations instead of the original 2. I could tell Milwaukee PC installed a program to remove the virus but it was very apparent they never checked that it actually removed it. Their receipt did state and quot; If problem persists, a Format and Reload will be needed at an additional fee.and quot; But why did I have to find that I still had the virus. I believe they should have checked and notified me.
I took my computer to another company who successfully remove the virus. It is a difficult virus to remove and took significant amount of time which I was willing to pay for. I wish Milwaukee PC had demonstrated better customer service and communication skills.
