Jonathan was referred by an interior decorator our realtor recommended.  I asked her if she felt like we could trust him with access to our new condo while on vacation for a week and she said, "Absolutely."  Jonathan was thoughtful and prompt regarding his proposal and made some suggestions we would not have known to consider (finish-wise, texture-wise, matching white trim, accent walls).  He is a very pleasant and polite person.  At first I thought "this is a lot of money," but it was worth every cent- a good reminder that it is worth paying for someone who is an expert at what they do.  The paint job is beautiful and I would not hesitate to recommend Jonathan.  His attention to detail was greatly appreciated.  As a fun side-note, he knew I was apprehensive about my daughter's choice of teal for her bedroom- and that she was quite excited- and he was thoughtful enough to send us a photo while we were on vacation of the finished room which ended up looking great.

We used Proficient for a number of paint jobs when we moved into our current house. The service was always excellent: punctual, friendly and reasonably priced. The quality of the work is top notch and Proficient will also provide consulting on color choices, finishes, etc. if you need it. You can't go wrong with Proficient -- we'll be using them again in the near future.

Even before he came to do the work on the windows, Jonathan explained the process to me so I knew what the service entailed and also gave tips to keep the windows maintained. He clearly knows his work very well and completed the project with efficiency. I feel confident he did a thorough job and will recommend him to friends.

We were extremely satisfied with Jonathan's work. He arrives on time, he's meticulous in his painting, does a very good job repairing and preparing before he paints, and leaves the area clear and neat. We had the main floor painted before we moved in and left Jonathan to work while we went back to Indiana. We felt very comfortable leaving him a key and having him do the work without us. We highly recommend him.

Jonathan is an expert painter, very detailed and efficient.  I had my basement remodeled and electricians created a lot of drywall holes while installing new lighting.  Jonathan repaired all the drywall seemlessly and then painted the entire basement.  He painted an oak cabinet in basement bathroom that turned out beautiful and saved me a lot of money by not having to replace the whole vanity.  I was so pleased with his work, I hired him to paint my kitchen and some doors.  He is very reliable and shows up when he says he is, unlike some contractors.   I highly recommend him.

Jonathan did a great job, very helpful with choosing colors and paints, then top-notch job with the painting itself.  Efficient and friendly worker, a pleasure to work with, patient with our requests which changed as the job went on, transparent pricing, no unexpected charges.  Always cleaned up the place at the end of the day so you could hardly tell he was there except for how nice the new paint looked.  High recommend.
