I have been using Schmitz Construction for general remodeling work for over 15 years!!  Began with replacement of eave vents (required scaffolding - safety is their priority); followed by modification of a deck handrail to stabilize the handrail installed by another contractor.  Completed full remodel of a bathroom (start with them they can complete the majority of the construction which limits the number of contractors and interface or management).   Replaced an exterior deck with maintenance free materials ----- replaced corroded windows ... replaced exterior house light fixtures ... replace exterior screen doors; replace exterior garage doors ... replace main home entrance door. ... stabilized elevated deck foundation ... special metal trim to cover wood trim to avoid continued repainting.
The quality of the work is consistently excellent ... Schmitz Construction is two brothers ... you can expect the same quality work with each project.     I have found that in some instances the higher cost reduced my time.      I always start with them when I need work in order to confirm they are willing to do the work.  The only time they turned down the work was when I needed the roofing replaced.
