"The member has an outstanding debt yet to K.C. Construction. First he withheld $100 for something that was not involved in our contract for his roof. Then he had us build a porch stairs and railings. He gave me a small deposit and still owes a balance of $ 1,000. The way I see it, he is in the wrong. He wants me to pay my supplier for materials on his roof. After his first initial withholding, I stopped further payment on his materials after we had built the porch and railings in -20 degree weather so the member could insure his home. The member seems to think people are supposed to jump for him on his jobs. Its his own fault he couldn’t insure his property. I did him a favor and in return am owed $1000. Once the member pays this outstanding bill with me, in return I will make the second payment on his materials. Once I receive a check in the amount of $1,100 will I then make payment to my supplier. In the members’ own words “He claims I owe him 200 bucks when we had no contract that states this.” It’s not $200 its $1,100. As far as im concerned, the leins can go on his property. He is a liar and a snake. Pay the outstanding balance of $1,100 or face leins like every other person who doesn’t pay their bills."
