It went very well with him and his subcontractors.  The price was good for the work.  It was done on time and if it couldn't be they would tell you.

March 2012 the contractor (Terry Schwietz) installed our kitchen countertop. He damaged the large section of the countertop when he drove a screw through it. He came back on 2 different occasions to try to buff it out. After his 2nd attempt we all agreed that it couldn't be fixed. We emailed him the dimensions and he said he would order us a new piece and install it., that was in April. We did not hear from him (and by now it was late May) so we decided to let Menard's (that is where we ordered the countertop from) know that we were very unhappy with  the installer that we got from their list they had at the store. After that I emailed Terry that we hadn't heard from him in some time and were unhappy about it and let Menard's know. At that time he did email me back stating he ordered the countertop and it would be in the beginning of June and he would call and set up a time and date to come back and install the new piece. June came and went and we didn't hear a word from him. We went back to Menards the beginning of July and talked to the department manager. He stated that the countertop had been sitting there for over a month and that the installer hadn't come to pick it up. At that time they did call and let him know about that. We were told that later that day he did  come and pick up our countertop. It is now mid August and he has not contacted us. I would NOT under any circumstances hire him to do any work, he is unreliable and didn't give us the courtesy to follow up with us. The damage on our countertop is noticeable and is right in front of our microwave.
