DNG BUILDING & DESIGN

The construction of our garage was completed in late November of 2012 by DNG Building and Design, The builder left us with nails and staples sitting in plain site in the driveway and the yard, and did not finish framing the doorway into our breezeway. In early January, Not even 2 months later, Our area was fortunate to get a night of wind gusts, the next day I woke up to 40% of the shingles from our brand new garage all over my yard, and scattered throughtout the sub-division we live in, all of our house shingles were still intact. Staples were used to secure the shingles, not roofing nails which we were under the impression, was kind of the standard. The shingles that remain are unbelievably crooked. I decided to contact the builder about the problem, and the first thing he asked was if we had insurance. He also informed me he would come out and take a look at it. We haven't seen the builder since. I would not recommend Dave from DNG Building and Design, as his business is obviously run on the basis that quantity comes before quality, and Dave was no help whatsoever in helping us figure out what to do about the terrible job he did roofing our garage. When u sign the contract with Dave, it states that he stands behind his work, but I assure anyone who is thinking of having him build anything, that he does not. Dave had plenty of bad things to say about the other construction businesses in the area as to why he thought they did unsatisfactory work. Which also was very unprofessional. We were not impressed with the quality of the work that was performed at all and will not recommend someone who wont stand behind their own work for anything over 1 month and 20 days.
