A quick history about me, My father owned and operated A-1 Tree service since the 1970's & I was born with it in my blood.I got out of it for awhile,until 2003 where I started my own tree care company.Throughout the years our team has grown and will continue to expand our knowledge with the proper training & education needed to complete every job safely and accurately. We are very reasonable & always make sure the customer is completely satisfied.We do work in the metro Milwaukee area and Racine. We accept checks and credit card(Visa & Mastercard only) payments.Fully insured w/workers comp. The team came with all their equipment and were not only professional but were so easy to talk to. They were also very informative about my other trees, willing to answer questions. hey were done within the hour trimming back 3 large trees and cleaned up so well you would have never known they were there!!! I highly recommend this crew!!!!!!!!!!

Better than I could have imagined. When he rang my doorbell he already knew what could be done. The crew arrived, the tree was repaired and trimmed beautifully. Within 2 hours the work was done. They did an excellent job from start to finish. I will recommend their service to everyone.

I recommend J W Kolp without any reservations. He is a master at bringing down a tree. His whole team was organized and very professional. John is very easy going but gets right to work. He helped us out of a bad situation and responded rapidly. The entire site was cleaned up and looked fantastic.

I can not say enough good things about these guys! Professional, friendly, safe, efficient, and the list goes on. They took down a dead 50ft tree and even cleaned up after themselves. You would never even know they were here. These guys are great and I highly recommend them.

If you’re looking for a professional, friendly, and reasonably priced crew to take care of your tree service needs, look no further than J.W. Kolp. John came to Racine on Sunday and looked at the job, had a quote later that day, and was able to re-arrange his crew’s busy schedule to take care of a birch tree the following day that was in poor condition due to storms that came through the area a few days earlier. Within an hour or so after arriving, the tree was down and cleaned up and the stump was ground out. Give J.W. Kolp a call, you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent work. The arrived on time and the project was completed in about 3 hours. There was only one branch that was not trimmed due to a nest of morning dove chicks. It was low enough that my husband was able to complete the task when the birds left the nest.

Price was less than we expected. Response to request for estimate was very prompt. After accepting, we were advised that it would be 4=5 weeks to have the work done. Two weeks later the work was preformed. It was done in a very professional manner. The clean up after trimming was very good. We were very satisfied with the complete process.

Punctual, efficient and professional. The results were beautiful and they cleaned away everything (including some branches that fell in a recent wind storm). John came out the same day I called, reviewed the plan, answered all questions and gave me a fair estimate. The workers were friendly and attentive and took care not to damage a fence located beneath the job. I would definitely utilize them again.

I called them and the phone was answered immediately. They said they could do the hauling. They came 1 or 2 days later when I wasn't home. They also blew all the many leaves under the branches to the street. I called them again shortly after that for gutter cleaning. Again, they were quickly responsive. He charged me 125.00 for both visits and asked if that was too much. Nice guy.

John came earlier in October to give me a quote on the job.  His initial quote was for 2 full 12 hour days to complete with a flat hourly rate so I budgeted that the project would cost me approximately $3000.  We finally caught a break in the weather so on Friday November 2nd, John and his courteous and professional crew arrived at the designated time and we did one more walk-around to review the scope of services.  The crew was very professional and efficient with each aspect of the tree removal.  They were able to complete the job in one day saving more than $1200.00. 

John was very professional, with a great deal of experience in tree removal services.  I would recommend him to anyone who needs these services.

He came out, gave me an estimate. When I approved of the cost, him and a co worker of his, showed up, scaled the tree, and removed the storm damaged branches. Removed all waste..and cleaned up the yard.
