Worst company I’ve ever dealt with! I wish I would’ve read the Better Business Bureau reviews before doing business with this company. Very poor customer service and Bad install. Whatever you do avoid this company!!! They do not care about their customers.

Where do I start with this company. I'm not an average homeowner and I know all about energy efficiency. So I had 4 companies give me bids. We ultimately went with feldco because of the energy factors were higher than even pella but the salesman was good to start. We signed a contract on June 10, 2021 and shortly after they took measurements. The contract said 6 to 8 weeks. On August 31, 2021 we called for a status update (now 10 weeks past measurements) which we were told that our window should be coming off the truck and we would be called the next day either way to schedule or give a status update. We never received a call until a month and a half later when they claimed they needed a special crew. Well this special crew was finally scheduled and this crew was so new they didn't even know how to read their work order, so they went to their second job first. I wasted an entire day of paid time off at home for them to not show at their own fault. I was offered only a small discount after haggling with them how upset at how late it was. They scheduled for a second time to finally install and when they show up and install they tell me they don't even have all the parts and they knew they didn't have all the parts when it arrived 2 months ago. But they decided to wait and order the trim that was missing AFTER installing. They did a sloppy install and their alleged senior crew member from milwaukee was patronizing to me on site and incredibly rude. Turns out they don't even pay him enough to only work for feldco and is a shotty home inspector on the side. They scheduled a third visit to install trim and had to cancel that day because only one technician could do it and was supposedly sick. The ONLY competent person I have encountered from this ENTIRE company has been named Bernie and was a solo technician to install the late trim on the 4th visit in December as well as clean up the shotty metal trim on exterior to keep it water tight. The product has great energy ratings and is amazing but I will never recommend the milwaukee feldco to any of my clients. That was the worst customer service. What a joke. Give Bernie a raise and promotion and make sure the teams are properly communicating so this never happens again.

In process, signed a contractor in March. Finally started yesterday@ 12:30. I was assured their installation was completed by their employees. After many phone calls I finally figured out this was a sub-contractor. Two guys doing the work . Feldco has not sent anyone out to oversee. Salesman says he no longer works for them. Can't get the name of the manger for the job manager. Should have checked BBB have an F rating. Don't go there.

Installer was early, efficient, and awesome to work with. He worked in sub freezing temperatures to get the new windows in, and did so quickly to avoid as much cold air coming into the house as possible. I am looking forward to having additional windows replaced in the new futures as they made it so easy.

The mistake I made with Feldco was not being more discerning when choosing the color for my new sliding glass door. I should have asked to see samples of all the colors. I should have gone to the showroom and looked over all the choices. Instead, when the salesman held up his brochure with all the little color squares on it next to my existing wood trim and declared that Colonial Cherry was the best match, I just said ok and went with it. I was relying on his knowledge of all the Feldo products and his years of experience in the industry. This was a mistake. After the sliding door was installed, and I complained about how much darker it was than the rest of my trim, the salesman insisted that I had selected the color and that “we certainly cannot change the color of the door”. So, now I’m stuck with a dark brown door that looks odd next to all the red oak trim in my house. Sales Call Other than the poor color selection described above, the sales call went well. The salesman was polite and professional. There was some pressure at the end to ‘sign up today’. Price The quote of $3,400 was the cheapest of the 5 quotes I had received. Two of the other quotes (WeatherTight and Callen) were about double this amount. Installation The installation went very well. The 3-man crew arrived on time. They were polite, professional, and efficient. It took about 2 ½ hours from start to end. Trim I assumed they would trim the door with oak, but instead it was pine. If you have/want oak trim, be sure to ask for that. Looking back, I’m kicking myself for not going with Callen. I had a good gut feeling about Callen after seeing their products at the Home Show and after the sales call. Despite the high price, I think if I had went with them, I would look at their new door every day and think, “I love it”. My door from Feldco is ok, but I don’t love it.

The first meeting to get a quote went great. On time, friendly, very knowledgeable. Wanted to make my whole experience with the company "Delightful". For the measurement appointment, the representative was late. I was given a time frame of between 10 and 12 p.m. and told they would probably be there right away because they would be in the area. I took off half a day for this appointment. I called at 12:10 to find out when they would be there. I was told he'd be at my house in about 10 minutes. Fine, I could still work with that. The rep. finally got there and the measurements went quickly. It seems the main office scheduled him on the east side of Milwaukee between 11 and 12. I'm in Oconomowoc, roughly 30-40 miles west of Milwaukee. It did make me go hmmm...why didn't he come to my house first then??? Okay, I can understand that the companies main scheduling is in Illinois and they may not know the Milwaukee area that well. (Yes, I try to look at the positive. Plus, I really wanted those new windows.) Not really "delighted" at this point. We received the call that our windows would be ready on June 28th and could be installed on July 1st. I received a call a few days before July 1st. The installer had a "family emergency" and wouldn't be available on the 1st. However, another crew was available on the 2nd. That actually worked better for me because the 2nd was a Saturday. No need to take a vacation day. The 2nd came around and the installers were supposed to be at my house between 8 and 10 a.m. 10 o'clock came and went, no one showed. I called the company and was put on hold while they tried to find out what was going on. The rep. was unable to contact anyone and would call me as soon as he knew anything. Another hour goes by and still no one is at my house. I call Feldco again. Again, I'm put on hold. Again, no one knows what's going on. They'll call me back as soon as they know something. Half an hour later, it's noon by this time, I get a call. The truck broke down. I'm thinking okay, no big deal they're on there way. Nope, I'm told the manager will call me on Tuesday after the holiday. They never came out and specifically told me no one was coming out until I asked point blank "Is anyone coming out today?". Okay, now I'm pretty upset. I put aside my Saturday to get new windows. I moved furniture away from my windows and took down window treatments. My kids vacated their rooms to wait for their new windows. I'm definitely not "delighted" and not much will make me be "delighted" after this. So, the holiday comes and goes. Tuesday rolls around. I call them at around 11 a.m. to see what's going on. I talk to a "manager". They're really sorry about what happened. If they would have been in town, they would have made sure to call me as soon as they knew the situation. Yada, yada. He rescheduled my install with their "best team" for the following Monday between 12 and 2, but they should be there earlier. I don't have to actually be there because my son will be home. Great, I don't have to take another day of vacation. My new installation date comes around. It's 12, I text my son. No one is there yet. Okay, that's fine. I wait until 2 and text my son again. No one is there. I give it a few more minutes. Still nothing. My husband calls Feldco. Oh, they're supposed to be there between 12:30 and 3:30. I guess we get different times than the installers get. They finally arrived at my house at 4 p.m. The install took about 3 hours, and the installers were very efficient. At this point, windows are windows. Nothing really special about them except I can actually open them, couldn't open the old ones. Are they more efficient, probably. I think my old windows were original to the house, so about 100 years old. Well, at least 30+ years old. Will I be calling Feldco when I'm ready to do the other 11 windows or have siding installed? Probably not. I don't think the product overcomes the lack of commitment the company had for my project. I felt like my business meant nothing to them. And for that, my business will be going elsewhere. Oh, and they called to ask how my install went when the windows were still being installed.

Very bad!!!!!  After this joke I wouldn't let Feldco put a door knob on my house.   I called to check if the siding I had ordered was in yet.  Since I had two days of vacation, I thought it would be a good time for them to do it if the materials were in and the crew was available.  I was told yes, it was in and they could start on Wednesday.  I told Jim I would rather wait until Thursday, since I would be on vacation and at home to calm down my dog if the people and noise became too upsetting for her.  He insisted they start on Wednesday, and would work on the garage first since I wouldn't be home.  I finally agreed.  When I came home for lunch I was expecting to see a crew working on the garage.  Instead my driveway was full of the materials and nobody was around.  My overhead Garage door was wide open.  To this day I have no idea how they got the door open and they won't admit to doing it.  Since it was around noon I though maybe the crew had gone to lunch.  I went back to work and called Feldco to ask how they got my garage door open.  Jim had no idea, but promised to look into it and get back to me.  He also said the crew was just finishing up the last job and would be by my house around 1:00.  I went home at 4:30 again, expecting to find the crew working on the garage.  Nobody was there, nobody had been there at all.  Several neighbors asked me why they left my garage door open when they dropped off the materials.  I called Feldco again.  Jim said it took the crew longer than expected to finish up the last job and they would be at my house at 8:00 the following morning.  Thursday morning 8:00 AM.  Nobody!!!!  9:00, 10:00, Nobody.  I called Feldco AGAIN.  Jim said "They're not there?"  No.  He said he'd get right back to me.  He called 10 minutes later and said they were on their way and would be there in half an hour or so,  Again they needed to finish up the last job.  Half an hour later he called again and said they were stuck in traffic but were on their way.  They finally showed up around noon.  Since I was home I told them to start on the house first.  There was bad weather in the area so I told them if it started thundering and lighting I wanted them to stop.  I didn't want anybody getting hurt.  About 1:00 or so that's exactly what happened, they had about 3/4 of the old siding off.  They said they'd be back at 8:00 the following morning.  Guess what?  Nobody showed up AGAIN.  I called Feldco.  Jim gave me the same line "They're not there yet?"  NO.  IF THEY WERE HERE I WOULDN'T BE CALLING!!!!!!!. He said he'd get back to me.  Never called.  11:00 one of the crew showed up and started taking off the rest of the old siding on the house.  I went out to see what was the excuse this time.  Somebody from Feldco drove up and said he was checking on the progress.  I let him know how much screwing around had happened to this point and now I have ONE person here.  He talked to the crew member and told came back and told me the other guys on the crew have a flooded basement and wouldn't be there.  The one crew member that was there told me that they had agreed to come back Saturday and Sunday to get the job done before I went back to work on Monday.  He finished pulling off the old siding from the house and left for the day.  Saturday........NOBODY SHOWED UP!!!!!  By now I was absolutely irate.  I called Feldco and told Jim to come and get the materials I was done with Feldco and their lies and screwing around.  I got the same question........."They're not there yet?"  NO.........STOP ASKING ME THAT.  IF THEY WERE HERE I WOULDN'T BE CALLING TELLING YOU TO COME AND GET YOUR GARBAGE.  He said he'd call me back.  10 minutes late he called and said they'd be there Monday.  No reason given as to why they weren't there as promised.  I told him no.  I was done.  They were to come and get the materials off my property.  His response was they'd be there Monday.  I told him NO.  And if they did show up to do anything other than take the materials off my property I'd call the cops and have them arrested.

Monday - I get a call at work from Peter.  He was the guy who came out and did the final measurements before all of this started. He asked me to explain the situation to him, so I told him the whole mess and that I wanted nothing to do with Feldco after this. He tried to talk me into letting them install the siding as agreed to.  He promised he would be there supervising the crew and make sure they were on time and the job would be done.  I asked him how they were going to do anything in the first place, when they originally started they left their saws and tools in my garage.  I'm not home and my garage is closed and locked.  Did they plan to break in again like they did when they delivered the materials.  After more back and forth and promises from him I agreed to let them do the job only because I now had a house with no siding or protection from the elements at all.  He came to the office and picked up my garage door opener and again promised he would supervise the crew and there would be no more excuses.  In the end I'm happy with the color I selected and that's it. The siding manufacturer has a lousy way of trimming around the outside faucets and light fixtures and such, but that's not Feldco's fault that's the siding manufacturer.  They had to come out once more to fix several issues I had and to finish up odds and ends. with all the problems they created for me and all of the excuses and lies and delays, I thought they'd at least offer me a discount on the job. They wouldn't even do that.   In all it took them more than a week to get this done.  I now have problems with what looks like mold in the outside corners of the rooms.  I'm having that checked out before I call Feldco and have them correct whatever needs to be corrected to stop that if it is due to the siding and soffits.   NEVER AGAIN.  IF POSSIBLE I'D GRADE THEM MUCH WORSE THAN AN F

The communication was difficult as all the workers only spoke Spanish. They got the job done in one day. Everything was cleaned up and nothing was left. So far everything has been okay and they are responsive. They also put some shingles on an awning above the bay view window, but they didn’t even ask me what color I wanted so it would match right.

No one spoke English. The workers stopped working to watch a soccer game on the tv with my son. The company logo was not on the trucks or shirts. Left windows dirty after installed and chalk on siding does not stay adhere to siding and little vent on outside of windows keep falling out letting in bugs. When they came out to fix a screen they left netting so we could fix them ourself. We will never use them again or recommend them.
